Peter

I sat on the beach, my elbows on my knees and my chin resting on my open palm.

It was the very same beach the Queen of Neverland had first arrived on.

I closed my eyes, and imagined her face.

Every morning, I envisioned her.

Her dark, wavy brown hair. Her silvery-gray eyes that looked like moon beams reflecting off of Neverland's deep surrounding seas.

The way she walked, her hips swaying gracefully.

The way she talked and laughed and sang, all sounding sweet and like music to my ears.

Her spirit itself. My stubborn, proud, fiercly protective, Lost Girl. My Queen of Neverland, my little Lost Girl.

I missed her, it felt like a knife had been stabbed throuhg my heart the day she wwas ripped away from me. And every passing day, the knife was twisted and pushed in further. I lived through the pain, never letting myself get pulled under depression.

Because if I did, I may never see her again.

My shadow was always gone, he returned once every seven days to report back to me.

Its been three years now, 159 weeks in total, and the 160th week in progress.

My eyes were squeezed shut, when I heard a loud thud and a swear word near me.

My eyes flew open, and I looked around me. On my left, was a girl.

A girl!

For a moment, my hoped were raised.

Could it be?

Could my little Lost Girl really be home?

But my hopes were quickly dashed when I looked at her closely.

She had light blond hair, and sparkling blueish green eyes with a certain golden tint to them. She was wearing dark denim jeans with a light gray jacket and white tank top inside.

I stood up, and dusted myself off. I walked over to her. "Well well well. What do we have here?"

The girl looked up at me, her eyes wide with fear and surprise. "My, my name Azalyn. Azalyn Faye." She looked out over the sea and asked in a qiuet voice, "Where am I?

I smirk darkly. "Sweetheart, you're in Neverland."

---------------------------------------

Azalyn's head snaps up and looks at me. "Wha, what?" She asks nervously. "That, that's not possible!" She stands up suddenly. She whirls around and faces me, her eyes large with anger and confusion. "T-t-tell me where I really am!" She screeches.

I shake my head and roll my eyes. "Typical nonbeliever..." I trail off, my eyes snapping wide open.

I had said the same thing to Talia when we first met.

I wasn't ready to have a new Lost Girl. Heck, I'd NEVER be ready to have a new Neverland Queen, not even in Neverland.

I looked at her again. "This dear, is indeed Neverland. And I am the King of Neverland, Peter Pan." She stares at me, her jaw almost to the floor. Or the sand. Whichever.

She scoffs. "You have GOT to be kidding me. I may look stupid, but I'm not stupid enough to think you're a fairy tale character!" She whirled around, but not fast enough. I grabbed her shoulder and stopped her.

"I don't have time for this. Let me just prove it to you so that I can bring you to the Lost Boys and we can get this whole thing over with. If my shadow brought you here, that means you're going to be staying for some time now."

I grabbed a bit of fairy dust from a black pouch in my pocket. With a pang, I remember giving a similar one to Talia, filled with the magic beans.

I hope she still had it, because there was one bean left in there that she could use to get home.

I sprinkled the green dust over her head. I pushed off the ground, and watched her expression. "Yes, yes, I'm flying. Now, you jump into the air and think of some happy thought or whatever, and come up here so you can meet the Lost boys."

She nodded, and jumed into the air. She slowly floated up to me, and after what seemed like forever, she reached my height.

I huffed in impatience. I grabbed her wrist, which caused the short girl to sqeauk in alarm. I flew fast toward the campsite, Azalyn in tow.

When we were floating above the campsite, I landed softly on the ground. Azalyn stumbled clumsily and collided into my back. I turned and glared at her. "Watch it, blondie." I remarked. She swallowed nervously, and nodded. "Oh, um, okay. S-sure, of course."

I turned my back to her, and rolled my eyes. "Boys!" I yelled. "Come out and meet our newest guest!"

Third Person POV

The female rider was approaching the gates of a castle. The castle was dark and gray, and surrounding the castle was a dark and trecherous wood. But several villages lay close together, and under the reign of the Queen Regina.

She smiled under her dark cloak, her veil of shadows.

She reached the gate. "I am here to see the Queen." She said simply when two guards went to meet her. The first guard scoffed.

"And who should we say is here to meet here?" The female rider grinned under her cloak.

"Tell her the Female Rider has arrived. The one with the Veil of Shadows."

She paused another moment, then said slowly,

"Tell her, the Lost One has arrived."

Peter

I introduced the boys to Azalyn. "Boys, the shadow has brought another girl to the island. Welcome her well." I watched, somewhat in a detached-like manner, as they welcomed a confused Azalyn.
Eliza, now technically 12, but still looking 9, ran up to her. "Oh boy! Another girl!!" She exclaimed, and wrapped her arms around her waist. Azalyn looked down at her, looking surprised, but hugged her back and patted her head softly.

"Oh, I wished you could have met Talia!!" Eliza exclaims.
I stiffen, and focus on the scene before me. Everyone has turned to look at me, except Eliza and Azalyn. Felix watches me casually.

Azalyn turns to look at me. "Who's Talia?"
I avoid her gaze, and look down at the ground."A beautiful Lost Girl." I say.

I turn my back on them, and launch myself into the air, never looking back.

Felix

After Peter disappears, I here Burton and Eliza talking.

"Eliza! Why did you bring her up!!"

"Why shouldn't I? She would have loved to meet her!"

"But, its difficult! For Peter to talk about her, or hear about her!!"

"........Oh........"

I looked over to see Azalyn looking very confused. "Who's Talia?" She asked again.

"She was Peter's girlfriend, his soulmate. But they were ripped apart by a curse three years ago, and Peter has never stopped searching for her."

I look up to the sky, and say, "As I'm sure she's trying to get home to us as well. This was her home, her family. She was the Neverland Queen, just as Peter was the Neverland King. But Peter hasn't been the same since she was taken from him."

I look back to Azalyn. "Its better if you don't mention her to him, or near him, really." I say. She nods, her light blond hair swishing slightly.

She reminds me of someone I used to know, but I can't quite put my finger on it.....
