Levi pushed Drew against the wall of the dressing room. Looking straight into Drew's eyes he leaned in and kissed him. A little shocked at first, drew didn't do anything, however once he recovered he started to kiss back. When the need for air became desperate both boys pulled away and Levi took a few steps back from Drew.
"I can't do this." He says before turning and leaving the room. Drew slid down the wall to the floor, completely in shock. He didn't know what game Levi was playing but he had just taken Drew's heart and smashed it into thousands of pieces. Slowly he stood up and made his way out of the room. He wandered through the venue they were in, not really paying attention to where he was going, too deep in thought. Levi knew exactly how Drew felt about him and to do that was just cruel and humiliating. If he wasn't serious why do it in the first place? Was he just in denial that he felt something for another guy? Or was everything just an act? He didn't think that Levi was the type of person to befriend someone like that and then screw them over as if the friendship meant nothing. Looking up he found that he was standing on the stage next to the piano. He sat down and his fingers hovered over the keys. The perfect song floated its way into his mind and he slowly began to play.

"You've got a hold of me
Don't even know your power
I stand a hundred feet
but I fall when I'm around you

Show me an open door
Then you go and slam it on me
I can't take anymore
I'm saying baby

Please have mercy on me
Take it easy on my heart
Even though you don't mean to hurt me
You keep tearing me apart
Would you please have mercy, mercy on my heart
Would you please have mercy, mercy on my heart"

He played through the next verse unaware that there was someone standing in the wings watching him play. Suddenly overcome with all the emotions and thoughts from the past 15 minutes, he poured everything into the song.

"Please have mercy on me
Take it easy on my heart
Even though you don't mean to hurt me
You keep tearing me apart

Would you please have mercy on me
I'm a puppet on your string
And even though you got good intentions
I need you to set me free
Would you please have mercy, mercy on my heart
Would you please have mercy, mercy on my heart

Consuming all the air inside my lungs
Ripping all the skin from off my bones
I'm prepared to sacrifice my life
I would gladly do it twice
Consuming all the air inside my lungs
Ripping all the skin from off my bones
I'm prepared to sacrifice my life
I would gladly do it twice"

Anyone watching could see the amount of emotion pouring out of him and into the song. There were tears streaming down his face and his voice broke in a few places but Drew kept going. He played through to the end of the song pouring everything he had into it. As the last note echoed through the arena he stood up from the piano bench and crossed the stage, vowing to himself that he wouldn't let anyone affect him that deeply again. Levi, standing in the wings, wondered just what he had actually done.
