“Why don’t you sit down with us for a little bit” Mom can sense my shock, so she helped me to regain my consciousness. I sit down on an open chair nervously. Of course, I didn’t make t too obvious, but my mom saw me being so tensed.
“Where have you been, by the way?” mom is great at this. She managed to start a conversation to reduce my tension. Thanks mom. Luckily, I’m a little bit back to my own self.
“Oh, I um, ate dinner with friends at Nando’s.” I smiled. Gemma then, sat right beside me to make me feel more comfortable. I looked at her and gave you the thank you look.
For the past hour, sitting and pretending that I’m in the conversation, believe me, it’s pretty boring because it’s all about business, which I’m not interested, I kept thinking about Carter. Being massively rich and living with married couple who doesn’t act like her. Catherine and John were so different from their daughter. She didn’t even tell me that she’s rich on AIM. God, this girl is really something.
Gemma, cut my thoughts when she asked for mom to go back to her room. I checked my watch and saw the time, it’s11:30pm. She gave me a kiss on the cheek as good night and she went off. I admit, I’m pretty close to my sister. Besides, we’re only two, why hating each other, right?
“She’s still online at this time.” I whispered.
“Sorry, what’s that dear?” Mom asked. I think I said that out loud.
“Oh, sorry mom. I think need to go upstairs. It’s getting pretty late.” I pointed at my watch and gave a fake yawn.
“Sure son. Good night.” Dad said.
“Good night. Oh, nice meeting you Mr. and Mrs. Mason.” I smiled at them and shake hands with them politely.
I rush myself going to my room in not an obvious way and open my MacBook, checked my AIM and saw that Carter's online. I smiled in relief. I miss talking to her.

CARTER'S POV
I came back home crying. I can't believe he did that to me! He humiliated me in my favorite restaurant! I hate him so much! I immediately went to my bathtub and took a shower. I literally stared at the wall the whole time and tears run down my face. I wanted to scream because all the humiliating stuffs that Harry did to me flashbacked in my mind. All the pranks in the cafeteria and the corridors. ALL OF THEM. I wanted to shout but all I did was crying. Anger is what I'm feeling right now. I heard a knock on the door and heard Emily's voice. I can hear her voice with a nervous but with a furious tone.
"Carter, if you won't get out there and finish all your drama, I'll kill you before you'll kill yourself. You've been in the shower for almost 30 minutes." Good thing I have Emily. Without her, I'll be cutting by now. I can't resist myself not following her. She's just so good to me. I turned off the shower got a towel and my robe. I got out, still dripping wet.
"You crazy woman! You'll catch a cold!" Mrs. Norris was there too, she's worried than Emily. Lily (daughter of Mrs. Norris) was there, holding my pyjamas, looked kinda worried too and Emily hugged me instantly seeing me that I have no cuts or did something scary out there.
"You scared me!" Emily stated while hugging me.
"Sorry." I said. Nothing else came out in my mouth. They'll surely understood what it meant.
I thanked Lily as she handed me my pyjamas. Mrs. Norris looks relief seeing me a little bit normal again. Emily and I went to my room and chatted there for a little while. Mrs. Norris handed us some juice and cookies. Emily comforted me and she sure made me smile. It's 11 pm and we're pretty getting bored.
"Let's go check our facebook and on 9gag!" Emily suggested. I agreed and opened my Macbook and got out my extra Macbook and borrowed it to Emily. I logged on my AIM at around 11:35 then someone buzzed me.
MysteriousCat201: Hey Carter! Still online huh? xx
"EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEK!" I squeeked loudly.
"For my goodness sake!" Emily looked at me as she startled like a cat.
"What's that for?!" She added.
"Oh sorry for startling you! MysteriousCat is just online!" I said happily.
"Oooh. Okay." Emily replied. Yep, I've told her about him.
"Go on and do your thing." She said, doing her own business.
"Okay." I said in a lower tone of voice but the truth is, I wanna scream. Chills and excitement is all within me. I totally forgot about a while ago. Thanks to him, he always makes me smile.
CarterMason: Yep! Just 9gagging and just took a peek on my facebook.
Mysteriouscat201: Oh. I bet you're having a great time! 9gag is just too hilarious! xx
CarterMason: IKR! xx
"Hey Carter, did that mysterious guy showed you his picture yet?" Emily asked, still looking on her own facebook in my other Macbook.
"Nope" I said, popping the 'p'
"I think it's not a good idea to talk to that guy. You don't even know him. You don't know his face. That's a bit creepy too." Emily stated. Now, she's looking right at me. I turned my head towards my monitor, avoiding to have an eye contact with her because I know that's it's a bit creepy telling your secrets to a mysterious person. But, I really have a good feeling with this one. And I don't even know why.
"I know it's a bit creepy but he has this thing that I can't even explain why I wanted to be closer to him. Even though I didn't see his real face. maybe I did... but I don't know his face... ugh. I can't even explain why. So please, stop asking me some complicated questions?" I said turning my heard towards her and rolled my eyes, turning my head back to my monitor.
"Suit yourself babe." Emily stated with a kinky voice. Did she just did that?
"Heyyy! I'm not inlove with him!" I said, getting why she did that kinky voice.
"You are Carter!"
"Am not! I just love it when I share stories to him. Nothing more, nothing less." I lied. I think I kinda like him. KINDA.
MysteriousCat201: Do you have plans tomorrow? :)
CarterMason: Nope. Probably doing homeworks in the morning and swim all afternoon. x

Suddenly, we heard our limo parking in our garage. Emily and I looked at each other and nod in response. We just had a conversation. Which is to tidy things up and go to sleep before mom goes up to my room. She always checks on me when she comes home. I'm already 15 and still I have my cerfew.
CarterMason: Ooops! My parents are here. GTG now. My mom's gonna ground me if I'm not yet asleep. Goodnight! Sweet dreams! xx
That signaled my goodbye to my mysterious guy. Emily rushed herself in turning off the lights and I rushed myself turning off both Macbooks we've been using. As we both jumped on my queen size bed, we both giggled and said our goodnights. We both closed our eyes and then heard some knock.
My mom had her own key to my room, which is really annoying. She opened the door quietly, afriad of waking us up and heard a surprised voice. Maybe she didn't expect Emily sleeping for the night. She kissed my forehead. I felt the warmth of her lips. She's a little bit sorry for me about what happened a while ago before the humiliation at Nando's thing happened. I think... Anyway, she walked out of the room quietly, not forgeting to lock my door of course and left. Emily and I both fell asleep after that.
