"And for today's weather, we- "I switched off the tv as the meteorologist started talking and grabbed my backpack to head to school.
Going to the kitchen to grab a water bottle, I rolled my eyes at the note on the counter.
Gone to New Hampshire, will be back on Monday. -Love, Dad.
Stay in New Hampshire, how about that?
Quickly running into the school, I scowled at my damp clothes and hair.
I should've stayed and listened to the meteorologist this morning.
It's pouring.
Apparently, there's a severe thunderstorm heading this way and I'm not prepared for it.

The tone for an announcement came over the intercom, followed by Mr. Jacobson's voice.
"Attention students and faculties, due to a severe thunderstorm warning this afternoon, all afternoon activities and sports will be canceled."
Letting out a sigh, I ran my hands through my hair.
Liam will be happy to hear that I guess.
But he's going to fail that quiz on Monday if he doesn't study, and I know that he will not take the initiative to do so himself.
So, I took out my phone and texted him.
Shaking my head, I slipped my phone back into my pocket and focused back on the teacher.Well I tried to at least.
My mind was everywhere but here.
