Eddie and Jamie's Love Story

Chapter 1: The day after

A/N: For everyone's information, I do not own anything from Blue Bloods, some of what I write actually happened on the show but most of it I am making up. I hope you like my story.  

General:

Its the day after Eddie went over to Jamie's apartment and told him about her feelings and kissing him. She is arriving at work and is a little nervous.

Eddie:

'Okay, Eddie you can do this. It was just a kiss, it was nothing. Everything is fine.' She thinks while walking out of the girls locker room ready for the day and heading to her desk. When she gets to her desk Jamie is not there yet, she silently sigh to herself. She sits down in her chair and looks over a few notes left for her. She gets to her second note when Jamie gets to his desk.

"Hey, I grabbed you a coffee." Jamie said while putting the cup of joe down on my desk.

"Thank you, Jamie." I said grabbing the warm cup and taking a sip of it.

"Mmm, the coffee is very good." Eddie says looking at Jamie's hair as he has his head down looking at some notes.

"it is isn't." Jamie says looking up at Eddie, making eye contact with her. They hold the eye contact for maybe a second longer then usual. Jamie is the first to break the contact and takes one more look at his notes. He puts them away and stands grabbing his coat from the back of his chair.

"Ready?" He says to Eddie.

"Yep." Eddie put her notes away and grabs her coat too. They head out to their car. They drive around for a while without talking. 

"Everything okay, Eddie?" Jamie asks her.

"Yeah, why?"  She responds taking a quick glance at Jamie in the drivers seat. 

"Well, you haven't said anything for a little while." Jamie says taking his eyes off the road for a second to look at Janko. 

"I just don't have much to say this morning and you haven't said anything for just the same amount of time." Eddie says looking at Jamie.

"Well... I don't know..." Jamie says looking at the busy road. 

"Well, same." says Eddie. Jamie slows down a little and finds a spot in the road to pull over. He puts the car in park. He turns to Eddie.

"Is everything okay?" He asks a little concerned.

"Yeah, everything is fine. I really just don't have that much to talk about." She says barley looking at Jamie. 

"Then look at me and say that." Jamie says. She turns her head towards Jamie.

"I don't have a lot to talk about, Regan." She says looking into those beautiful eyes of his. Jamie not being totally convinced says,

"Is your lack of words about last night?" Jamie asks, with no response from her.

"Because we said that we are fine and that we are going to be professional and stay work partners." Jamie says sweetly. 

"Yeah, I know, I am just a little embarrassed about last night." Eddie says while moving her head towards Jamie so that she can see him. 

"Well, there is nothing to be embarrassed about, I told you how I felt. It's not like those feelings weren't returned. I feel the same way." Jamie says to Eddie's face. 

"I know, I just wish I hadn't kissed you last night. Kind of wish I had more self-control." Eddie said looking into Jamie's eyes. Jamie put a small smile onto his face.

"Well, I liked that you did not. It was a good kiss, and I kissed you back. So, none of us had much of self-control." Jamie says with a small chuckle. I laugh to this too.

"I guess." I say looking out into the road. 

"Hey, we both said that we want to keep this professional." Jamie says put his hands up.

"Yes, we did. Okay. As long this is not awkward for you." Eddie asks pointing at Jamie.

"No, nothing is awkward. Everything is good." Jamie says.

"Okay, great. Lets get back to work." Eddie says perking up.

"Whatever you say Janko." Jamie says with a laugh and pulls out of the spot into the busy New York street.
