Chapter one: First Day

~BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP~

Kia groaned and slammed her hand on her alarm clock's snooze button.

"Today is the day!" Kia says with excitement. Kia does her morning routine and heads to the kitchen for breakfast.

"Morning Mom" Kia greets happily.

"Morning sweety, i see you are excited for your first day at your new school!" Kia's mom says

"Sure am!"

Kia's mom smiles and gets a plate and puts a giant stack of pancakes on it.

"Yum pancakes!"

Kia goes to the dinning table and glomps her pancakes with maple syrup.

"Hey Lil bro" Kia greets her younger brother Jacob.

"Hey big sis" he greets back.

"I hope you have an awesome day at school, and meet new friends too" Kia says cheerfully.

"You too, im a little nervous though"

"Dont be! Just be yourself and people will accept you, if they dont they arent real friends" Kia says.

"Thanks sis" he thanks.

Kia arrives at her new middle school. She is greeted by the principal of the school.

"Hello there you must be Kia! Im principal Kayla. Welcome to Sunridge Middle school" She greets.

"Hello ma'am" Kia greets.

"I will be having a student show you around the school, Stella come meet Kia"

Stella comes.

"Hello Kia, im Stella Martins, welcome to Sunridge!" she greets happily.

"Hi Stella! You look like a really nice person" Kia says.

"Thanks!" Stella says.

"Good you two are getting along quite well, i see great potential from you Kia" Principal Kayla says.

Stella and Kia walk around the school and talk to each other boosting their friendship.

"You should have your schedule by tomorrow so you should speak with the counciler" she says.

"Okay" kia says.
