Rabiya was in deep slumber when she felt someone's hand caressing her cheek. Immediately, she felt sickened by the touch and opened her eyes. Seeing Ebaad's face so close to hers, she stilled in alarm and her breath hitched in her throat, fear clouded her face and sweat beads appeared on her forehead. She pushed him with all her might due to which he stumbled back, she took this chance to escape from the room but Ebaad was quick to catch her. Before she could turn the knob of the door, he pulled her roughly towards him. She landed on his chest and he lifted her up in his arms and threw her on the bed forcefully. She tried to escape again but before she could try, Ebaad pushed her again and hovered over her. He held her wrists and placed it above her head. She screamed in pain as his grip tightened. Tears covered her face and she begged for freedom as his body neared hers.

"Ebaad bhai please leave me. Please bhai, I beg you. Don't spoil my life bhai. Pl-Please, leave me bhai."

Hearing the brotherly endearment, Ebaad was furious and slapped her left cheek. He growled in anger, "Don't you dare call me Bhai again. I am not your Bhai, I have already taken a wrong decision in rejecting you, now I don't want to repeat my mistake. You are only mine and I will mark you, never to forget," he smirked and leaned forward to kiss her.

"No, no, no," she shouted.

And she finally landed in reality as she jolted upright. There had been nobody around her and she realized that it was simply her imagination. The nightmares had become constant and a part of her life. She couldn't live this way, it was torturous day by day.

Ya Allah, why me?

She questioned herself alike every day and sobbed, thinking of her supportive and loving partner, Ehaan.

Ehaan had been a great husband even after whatever happened. He had never questioned her nor had he doubted her anytime. He had been there since the very start and had become a very important part of her life. He was the one and only perfect one for her, she thought.

He was too good, too perfect and too loving for her. He deserved someone better than her, someone, who supported him in every aspect, not someone who was used. He deserved a woman who he could spend his entire life with, in utter happiness and respect - another part of hers whispered.

'I love him but for his sake, I'll leave,' she thought to herself.

"Jaan, are you awake?" She heard her husband's voice and wiped the sweat beads off her forehead.

Ehaan stood in the middle of the room holding a tray full of delicious food.

"Yes, I woke up," she answered his earlier question.

"Okay then, have your breakfast. You haven't eaten properly since days. I see you have lost weight," he complained.

"No Ehaan, I'm eating enough," she smiled at his kind nature, "Let's have breakfast together," she grabbed his hand and made him sit beside her. She dipped the spoon into the bowl and held it for him to eat.

The entire breakfast session went in feeding her husband but Rabiya cared less. The man in front of her held too much importance in her life that even imagining herself without him felt impossible. She could hardly even breathe without him but sometimes the Shaytan's whispers get louder than that of our hearts.

That night, Rabia sat silently pondering over her life which had turned upside down after that one horrible incident. She never thought of it even in her wildest dreams.

Ya Allah, why me? Don't I deserve happiness in this life? Can I ever live without nightmares? Can't I lead a normal life with Ehaan?

However, her train of thoughts vanished as Ehaan appeared in front of her. She glanced at him as he made his way in her direction and stood up.
