Step 1: Is your title worthy enough?

The first thing a viewer sees when scrolling down is the title. If your title is too long or uninteresting, the reader is not going to give your story another chance. The title should have a meaning to your story--- it should not be a sentence!

For example, your story title should NOT be like this:

The Wolf Bit Me and Then I Turned Into a Werewolf.... But Wait!? What is a Mate!?

Your title should not give away the whole plot of your story and should not sound childlike. If you are creative enough to write a story, you should be creative enough to come up with a decent title!

When creating a title, ask yourself this question:

Would a famous author like Sarah Dessen, James Patterson, Stephenie Meyer, or Simone Elkeles choose to create a title like mine!?

If your answer is YES then go for it. If your title is going to be changed by an editor anyway, why name it something like that.

Going back to the plot of a title given above, something like Bitten might work. Sure, it may be cliched, but it draws people in and let's their imaginations run wild.

Here are some examples of titles that work: (Feel free to use titles.)
