Jade gets in and rides with Matt and Emily. She didn't want to be in a truck with mister grumpy.

So... is he always this grumpy or... Jade starts.

No. It's just he doesn't trust you...yet. Emily says .

Oh well that makes me feel wonderful. Jade said with a sarcastic voice.

Don't feel bad he doesn't trust a lot of people. Matt says trying to make Jade feel better.

But Jade did not hear. She lost in her thoughts thinking about her sister.

Wow. You guy work here? Jade says as she looks at the toll and wide glass building.

(Time skip) in the ark

Jade follows them in side to a room with a lot of height tec computers and divices.

Wow. What is this place? Jade asks. Looking around.

The main room aka the tec room. A girl she did not know said. She had brown hair and blue eyes.

Oh. My name is Jess nice to meet you. Jess said putting her hand out to shake. 

My name is Jade nice to meet you to. Jade said as she shakes Jess's hand.

What do you do here? Jade asks looking at Jess's dress and heels.

Oh. I work with the computers. I sit there and tell them when a portal appears. Jess says.

Cool cool. So- Jade get over here. The boss wants to see you. Becker cuts of Jade...again.

Ugg. Wish me luck. Jade said.

Breathe Jade breathe Jade. Jade said trying to calm down as she walks in to a room that looke like in office.

There was a man siting at the desk with paper work. 

He must be the boss. Jade thought.

You guys can leave. He said.

Hello. My name is James Lester. I run this organization. So you know about the portals? James said.

Yes sir I do know about them. Oh ware are my manners my name is Jade. Nice to meet you. Jade said kindly.

So what do you know about them? James asks.

Well, they open at random times, they can stay open for a long time or a short time, and they can let things go through. Jade stated. 

Umm. James said not looking up from is paper work. You can stay you just can't say a word. You'll be in matts team.

Jades face lit up like a Christmas tree.

Really. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Jade said with excitement. 

James looks up at Jade and raised an eyebrow.

Ops. Sorry. Jade said looking down with embarrassment.

Oh there is one more thing I need to tell you. I'm from the Jurassic time pried. Jade proudly said.

James looked surprised. What?
