You're so very beautiful to me
For every feather that's fallen
For e v e r y part of your
h e a r t that's broken
You're so very perfect to me
For your e v e r y f l a w ,
For your e v e r y l i t t l e
s c a r that's s h o w i n g.
You're so very special to me
Your mind is a masterpiece
Your every little skin crease
proof of the wonder beneath
Everything you are
Is everything to me
Don't change a thing
Don't try to please.
You don't need to.
Words we often can't say when we see a mirror
Still we mirror these words for others we see.
We say these thing's because we love them,
We don't love them for perfect faces, perfect bodies
We love them because of their beautiful hearts.
We love them because we've seen their flaws,
but we still see who they really are and trying to be.
So can we tell them today how we feel?
Can we tell ourself the same thing's we'd say to them?
Can we teach eachother to fly?
Can we stop holding ourselves back?
