How I see it

I'm just trying to set up the world right now, and don't worry we aren't hearing Sakura's account of the past next, next is a longer chapter and the true return!

It was three years ago! Three years ago I found out something about myself and couldn't wait to share it with my best friend. The only problem was... My best friend hates me. I see Sasuke as my best friend even though we always dumb heads and he is a stupid Teme.

*Flash back to three years prior...*

"Sasuke! Sasuke! I wanna tell you something!" I yelled as I ran at him.

"Uggh! What now, Dobe! Sasuke said as he turned around to meet me. We were in the marketplace walking toward his house.

"I just... i... Ugh, I just feel.. I think I might... You... UGH!" I said trying to push past the nervousness but just couldn't say anything. I need to say it though or it will kill me! "Sasuke..." I took a breath, "I..." I was cut off by an explosion in the distance. We turned and looked to it and both charged in the direction it came from.

"Run it's the Akatsuki!" said someone running by. "It's him, it's the Uchiha!" another yelled. I knew at that moment that things were bad. I turned but just as I expected Sasuke was gone. I noticed him up ahead. I ran faster but couldn't catch up, but I then noticed the direction the destruction seemed to be headed and tried to head where it would be.

Just as I had hoped I was right behind the destruction but in front of Sasuke. As I watched him running towards me I thought of how i would try to stop him. "Sasuke!" i screamed throwing a kunai at his feet. He pulled to a stop in front of me. "Naruto, MOVE!" he said with anger boiling out of him. "Sasuke, i can't let you do this. its to dangerous he will hurt you." I said scared for my friend. "Naruto, you don't get it. He is the reason I do this. He is why i get strong." Sasuke said clenching his fist, "If i defeat him it shows this village that im not like him! that i won't snap! That i am worthy." HE screamed. "I know how it is you want to prove yourself i know. But what's the point if it kills you. I won't lose you!" The last part slipped out and i was happy it did.

"Naruto, Back off." He said. "I won't let you do this! I Will stop you! YOU. WONT. PASS!" I said looking at him with just as much anger. "Naruto, I WILL kill you if you dont move." He said with truth in his eyes. "Sasuke I care too much to let you go!I knwo you won't hurt me cause we are friends," I said honestly believing that he wouldnt. "Naruto... We aren't friends! Infact I cant stand you! And if you really think I care you will soon be proven wrong. Naruto I will kill you!" He said stepping forward and slowly walking at me. "The fact you warn me says different!" I yell. "Your right!" he said stopping. I sighed and let down my defencive stance.

Suddenly his arm whipped forward and there was a pain in my leg. I looked down to see a kunai. "You still only immobilize me. Sasuke I know you care! Please listen to me. I can't lose you. I... I need you... Cause I---" I was cut off by a second kunai hitting my right shoulder. I screamed in pain and then heard someone call my name, It was Sakura. "Sasuke you can't go cause I--" one again I was cut off but this time by a punch. "I don't care what you whatever. You should have gotten out of my way. He stepped on my foot and then kicked my knee bending my leg the other way and making a snap sound. "Naruto, I could end you here but it's a waste of my time. Your life isn't even worth ending! THAT IS HOW LITTLE I CARE YOU ANNOYING PEST!" I felt a fist go across my face and I spit out blood. "But I'll still kill you just for fun! CHIDORI!" he yelled. I saw the glowing then heard sakura yell. She kicked him back just before he could hit me. He quickly swung knocking her back. I don't remember what he said to her.. I guess it didn't really stick cause I didn't care.

His hand lit up again as he walked toward me. I closed my eyes and let a tear fall. "I'm sorry Sasuke," I whispered. I felt a sharp pain in my arm as I heard the bird chirp of his Jutsu. I opened my eyes to see blood gushing from my arm and Sasuke walking off toward his brother. Sakura ran over and began to heal me. It was soon after that news got around that Sasuke had failed and had hurt some citizens. He had lived but he had also fled. He left without any goodbyes and me and Sakura, even though both of us were hurt by him, cried. I always kept my pain secret but it was there. Nothing has changed since that day, though. My feelings remain the same. The only difference is I will never show them now.

Sakura noticed it first... She noticed how I became disconnected and only focused on training. I had become depressed and it soon became obvious to everyone. After a year I learned to put on a mask so people wouldn't bother me about it anymore. I was still mostly always alone and sad, until one day HE came. He became a good friend and helped me move on a bit. I still get depressed but it's not too often and most days I spend either with the team or with my crushes... Kiba!

And tomorrow is the big day... Tomorrow I'm finally going to ask Kiba out!
