My Escape

Chapter 1

My dad died from a drunk driver while my sister,brother and I were in the car. No one understands how hard it was. I almost died I would have been happy to die so I could be with my dad. My siblings made it out of the crash barely hurt while when the car hit my dad's side of the car his door crushed in. Glass shards flew everywhere scratching my siblings while my body gets tossed from the car. My mother was at home we were getting her a gift for her birthday the next day.

When the ambulance arrived my siblings road with our dad. It was a nightmare I had to spend time in the ICU while my dad was taken to surgery,

The doctors said it was a miracle that I survived the crash the way I was flung from the car but my dad got the worst of it. I broke my arm, my leg and had a so bleeding.

My mother came in my room and I had a feeling something was wrong. She told me that dad had flatlined and was in critical condition. That night I slept uneasy.

The morning I woke up my mother wasn't in my room when I woke up but I couldn't get up. I press the call button for the nurse waiting for the nurse to come in.

A lady comes in the room and says, "I am your nurse Kelly may I ask what you need?"

"Have you seen my mom I thought she was still here" I say.

She looks at me and with such pity in her expression. Just then my mom and siblings looking like they have all been crying.

My mother sat on the bed next to me and told me what happened. It was like I zoned out, becoming numb with the pain and heartbreak of losing my dad.

Anyway that's my story so let's get to now.

"Ally wake up we're gonna be late!" my brother Jake yells.

"I'm up," I say sleeplessly from my bed.

Amber throws a pillow at me from her bed. I finally get up get dressed in jeans and a shirt that says "Don't talk to me," with an emoji on it. I do my makeup then go downstairs to get a granola bar. I run out of the house, get in the Jeep to see that my siblings were already in the car. I start the car and we finally get to school. My brother is a freshman, my sister is a junior while I'm a senior.

"Bye guys see you at lunch," I say running into school to meet my best friend Kaitlyn.

"Hey why are you so out of breath," Kaitlyn asks

"We were almost late for school I had to hurry so I could meet you before class." I tell her.

"You didn't have to run all the way here. I would have made up some excuse to the teacher silly," Kaitlyn says

I rolled my eyes she knows I would don't do that with a teacher. I am actually the best student at this school but I'm not what everyone expects.

"You know that I wouldn't want you to do that for me. I made it here on time didn't I? Now let's go before we really are late." I say walking toward the french classroom.

I walk in adjusting my bag on my shoulder and sit down in my seat. Kaitlyn walks in and sits behind me smiling oddly.

I turn my attention to the teacher writing on the board when the bell rings.

In walks this guy wearing all bad boy gear I have no idea what to think. I mean he is insanely hot but I can't indulge in this kind of person.

"Bonjour à toute la classe!" said my teacher.

"Bonjour professeur Coleman !" the class replied.

"Now class we will be doing a partner assignment on French topics this week and next week I will be partnering everyone up for this prepare to move next your partner."said Mrs. Coleman
