I woke up when i heard someone knocking at the window of our car. It was a kid asking for something.

I was about to open the window when the kid run away, and i saw a man chasing him. Oops, probably his father.

"Ay ma'am welcome back po! masanay na po kayo sa mga batang namamalimos, madame ho niyan dito sa pinas" pagbati saakin ni manong ng napansin niya gising na ako, he's been my parents' driver since i was a kid but this is only the second time seeing him.

"nako pasensiya na po kayo, traffic na traffic pala dito, dapat ho pala sa ibang way na lang tayo dumaan" he added. By the way, kadadating ko lang galing US and we're still on our way home, i guess i should be used to it now, traffic is the foremost happening here in philippines.

I just smiled at him.

Manong talked so fast, i actually didn't understand some of the words he said.

Ok, don't judge me. I grew up in states and I only know small tagalog words, but I'm learning it now since im gonna be here for college.

"Ay sorry po ma'am Cash, inggles nga ho pala kayo" manong said

"No, it's okay manong! I actually need to talk in tagalog na rin po, so i can get used to it" nahihiya kong sagot

"I would love that po, but manong favor po"

"ano ho yon?" he asked, looking at the front mirror so he can see me

You see? that's why i don't like talking in tagalog :((

"Manong naman po eh!" natatawa ko ding sagot "I'm trying my best po"

"Maganda nga ho yang ganyan, may accent, sosyal na sosyal ho"

"Other people will mistaken me as maarte"

"Well, dad and mom always talk in tagalog po sa bahay, but i only know some common tagalog words" and I follow some filipino pages in facebook that's why i know some trendy words today mga bes, lol

My mom and dad stayed in US to manage our business, so im gonna be staying at my tita's house. Mom said that they are in Cebu, but Maddie's coming back tomorrow because the school will start in 2 days. Maddie is my closest cousin out of the other, she's one year older than me but she doesnt want me to call her ate, they used to live in US too, but she went here for her college, that's why I decided to go here for college so i can be with her, goals af

Whenever we're talking on video calls po kase she doesn't like talking in tagalog" i never heard Maddie talk in tagalog

Matagal na den since i went here in my tita's house, that was 2005's christmas break. 2nd time ko pa lang umuwi dito sa pinas, but i could say that it's more fun here. Specially christmas and new year.

"Hello iha" bati saakin ng babaeng medyo may edad na "Ako nga pala si Nanay Lea, siguro ay di mo na ako masyado naaalala dahil bata ka pa nung huli kitang nakita" she said while smiling

"I know you po, kayo po yng nagluto nung christmas eve di ba?" bata pa ako noon pero natatandaan ko siya dahil ang sarap niyang magluto

"Talaga?

Nanay Lea has been my dad's yaya since he was a kid, nasubaybayan na niya ang paglaki ni dad.

"Ay nanay, i missed your luto po!

When i finished eating, i tried to help cleaning and washing the dishes but nanay Lea told me to take a rest so i went upstair to find my room

I wanted to fix it now but I badly need a rest at the moment so I decided to lay on my bed. I was about to close my eyes when my phone beep.
