Chapter Three

"And your mom didn't know this until..?" Camila asked after Lauren told her the story when she stole a lip gloss in a Disney store

"Well.. until Lucy told my mom about it days later" Lauren said giggling as Camila did the same.

Lauren brought Camila to this fancy restaurant, Camila said she would pay but Lauren insisted, Camila agreed because she herself has no cash in her pockets.

"Mmm this steak tastes so good" Camila said with steak sauce all over her mouth, Lauren giggled then wiped some of it off her face with a tissue paper.

"Only the best for you mah lady" Lauren said smiling "well thank you" Camila said sipping from her water, "it was very nice of you" she added with an accent like a rich person, both started laughing because of their foolishness.

"So where do you study?" Camila asked as their laughters died down, "at South Miami Senior High School" Lauren answered.

"No way! I study there too!" Camila replied with wide eyes. "How come I never see you?!" She asked still surprised.

"I don't know. Maybe because my classes are in the other building, my mom works as a math teacher there so yeah" Lauren explained.

"Wait a minute. I remember you now.." Camila said, "you were the girl that made out with Victoria years ago at prom right?!" Camila asked laughing at that memory.

"Yup that was me" Lauren said trying to hide that hint of blush on her face, "of all the things you should've remembered, you remembered that" Lauren said

"Why not? I mean that was cute. You and your girlfriend looked cute together" Camila replied

"First of all, 'ex' girlfriend, and second, that was not cute! She made out with me in front of everybody when no one knows I was gay" Lauren scoffed "I wish I could turn back time"

"Yeah but now I bet all the girls are lining up just to be yours" Camila asked seriously, "I mean look at you! You have the most amazing eyes, great hair and body" she continued "you're basically perfect!"

"Yeah but of all the girls that has ever wanted me, I'm still looking for the right person to be with" Lauren said.

"What do you want in a girl to be yours?" Camila asked interested,

"well normal people would say that they want their partner to be beautiful, cute, pretty" Lauren said looking at Camila, "but for me, I want the one who cares, the one who is beautiful inside and out, you know what I mean?" Lauren asked as Camila nodded and smiled as Lauren rumble

"I like you" Camila said, "I like your choices, your good, I bet you'll be such a good girlfriend one day" she continued.

"To be honest, I don't think I'll ever find the person I want" Lauren said, "people this days don't know who they really are now, beautiful people are only beautiful on the outside"

"I know right" Camila agreed, "but I still hope for someone, I mean I still haven't had my first kiss, I have no relationships since birth, I'm still hoping there's someone out there who can hold my heart and never let go of it" Camila said playing with her fingers.

"Wow. And I thought you were all happy and laughy, I didn't know you have other feelings" Lauren giggled and so did Camila, "of course I do, stupid" Camila said.

"Well I think we better get going, it's actually getting late" Camila pointed out, "yeah" Lauren stood up and looked at Camila, "let's go mah lady" Lauren said with the accent  earlier, "oh God here we go again" Camila laughed as she followed Lauren to the car.

The two girls rode in the car filled with laughter and Lana Del Rey singing in the radio. They really enjoyed this day, especially Lauren, Lauren in an anti-sociable person. She does nothing in the house and never goes out, only if she has too.

Camila hasn't laughed this loud ever since the first day of school when everyone knew she was gay.

"Well here we are ma'am" Lauren said looking at Camila's house and at Camila, "thanks" Camila said smiling at Lauren then gathering her stuff. "I'll see you tomorrow?" Lauren asked "sure, anything to hear your stupid jokes" Camila said giggling and so did Lauren.

"Welp, better get going" Camila said, "yeah" Lauren replied in a sad tone not wanting Camila to leave yet. Camila didn't move she felt like she's not ready to go

"I had fun today. Thank you for that" Camila said, "no problem mah lady, anything to hear your laugh"

Lauren went out the car and opened the passenger side door for Camila, she reached out her hand for Camila to hold it for support and Camila took it gladly.

"Bye Lauren" Camila said as she started walking towards her house "bye Camz" Lauren grinned.

She went in her car, once more looked at Camila and drove off not leaving the grin which is plastered on her face.

"Best day ever" Lauren whispered to herself then continued driving
