"Are you sure you're not going to spend your summer here? At home? Your dad misses you a lot, Ai'oon."

Arthit sigh. He didn't have any good excuse to tell his mom as to why he's not going back home this summer except 'I want to spend the whole summer with my boyfriend and I can't to that if I'm at home'.. But ofcourse he didn't tell her that.

"I'm sorry, Ma. But it's just for 2 months After that, I'm still going to spend the rest of my summer vacation at home." Arthit told his mom through his laptop. He was video calling her in the middle of packing his suitcase for the trip to Nong Thale.

He was too busy rummaging his closet for an extra pair of shorts when he heard his door open. Kongpob appeared with his backpack and suitcase ready, looking giddy and excited as he saw his boyfriend.

"Hey, P'." Kongpob dropped his suitcase on the side of the bed and observed the mess that was in front of his eyes.

"Uhm. Do you need any help with packing your stuff?" Kongpob asked.

Arthit, still rummaging through his closet, grinned and told him that he didn't need any help with packing his clothes.

"Kongpob!" A loud noise was heard from the laptop.

Kongpob was startled and looked around the room and saw Arthit's mom on the screen.

"Good evening, Auntie" Kongpob bid respect as he sat down in front of Arthit's laptop.

"How are you, my dear? Arthit told me that you're going with him to Nong Thale. Take good care of him . You know his skin is very sensitive to the Sun. "

Upon hearing that, Arthit rolled his eyes at the pair. Kongpob laughed and continued to talk to Arthit's mom.

Arhit already told his mom about his relationship with Kongpob when she visited him two weeks ago. At first he was skeptical as to whether he should come out to his mother or not. Kongpob, as a very supporting boyfriend, told Arthit that he will respect his decision no matter what.

Arthit was scared when he saw his mom that day. He kept fidgeting and he didn't say anything to her except for the usual 'school's fine' and 'how's dad?'. Ofcourse, his mom knew that her son was not his usual self so she asked him what his problem was.

And at that moment , Arthit said to himself 'fuck it' and told his mom that he was in love with another man.

His mom was shocked but happy at the same time as she realize how happy Arthit was in his current relationship with Kongpob. She wholeheartedly accepted him and the rest was history after that.

"Where did I put my phone?" Muttered Arthit.

"You left it at my dorm this morning. It's in my bag." Said Kongpob.

"Well, you two have a safe trip to Nong Thale. I still need to go to the market to do some morning grocery shopping. And Ai'Oon...."

Arthit moved beside Kongpob to bid his mom goodbye, "Yes, ma?"

"Don't forget to always use "protection " ehem. And I'm not just talking to you Arthit, I'm talking to you, Kongpob, as well."

Kongpob chuckled as Arthit 's face became red as a tomato.

"MA!"

"Oh for the love of god, Ai'oon. You are my son and it's my responsibility to teach you how to be a responsible young adult. I know it's not my business whether you and Kongpob are sexually active or not—"

"Okay Ma, we get it!" Arthit interjects , trying to hide his embarrassment from Kongpob.

Fortunately, the awkward discussion was cut off by the sound of a doorbell ringing from the other side of the screen.
