Chapter 17 : Where Are You?

Reese's POV:

I poured some hot chocolate on my black and white polka dotted mug and Lou's red and white stripe mug. Finally, Louis and his band have a three week break before they resume on planning their new album. I smiled as I peek on the other room, where Louis putting the movie on and arranging the biscuits that I bought for our movie night.

Before the New Year's eve, Louis met my family. My mum loved him and adores him, making my dad a little suspicious. I laughed every time when mum compliment Louis and dad make the 'I'm jealous face at my mum. Rafael seems to like Louis too. When Louis played with our cute baby, Raffy kept giggling and he seems comfortable when Louis is around. 

I walked back to the living room, setting our hot mugs and biscuits at the coffee table. Louis put the movie on and I settled at his blue couch. Lou sat beside me and yup, he picked 'Wreck it Ralph'. I don't know how he finds the movie interesting when you will only see some candy land with pixelized people in a hotel with their enemy who turns out to be the hero at the ending and yup, I didn't like his choice of the movie.

Along with the Wreck it Ralph movie, he also picked Frozen and Tangled. So much Disney movies, but for his sake I'll watch these movies with him. I rested my head on his shoulder as the movie began. At first I felt a little sleepy but after the next 15 minutes of the movie, my eyes are completely shut and I was drifting again to my dreamland.

~Dreamland~

I find myself lying at my bedroom. I felt confused, Usually my dreams are either me travelling around the world or meeting my mystery man. I stared at the window and stand up, carefully not bumping my dirty white nightstand. I yawned again as I walked through the peach walls I came to like.

I furrowed my eyebrows when I saw a small note at the table, carefully tucked with a stack of pancake and a cup of milk. I opened the note and saw a scribble of letters from Louis.

Hey baby,

       Sorry for not waking you up, I got an early meeting with the management. I hope you and baby Blip will be alright. Love you xx

*End of Dream*

I woke up sweating and panting as I untangled myself from the blankets. That dream was unusual. Me having a baby? Future Mrs. Tomlinson? It's too funny to be true. Well can I consider this a wonderful dream or a beautiful nightmare? I wipe the sweat off my forehead and remove the blanket from my soaking body. I turned to my side, finding an empty space and a small note attached at the pillow.

Hey baby, Well good morning and I hope you will have a great day today. I'm just picking some extra clothes back from my flat and Harry invited me to have lunch and hang with them. I love you and yep, see you later.

I grimace at the small note that Louis scribbled. I put the small note at the dresser and decided to make my bed and shower. As I stripped off my pajamas and went straight to the hot water, I let the cold feeling fly off my body and began scrubbing myself.

I close my eyes for a second and my mind was instantly swarmed with the dream and Louis' note that he left. Can the two notes be connected? Is God trying to give me clues about our future? Would me and Louis last longer than I thought?

I grabbed all my things and walked outside of my dad's building. January is coming to an end and he decided to throw a party for being the number one airline in America. His next goal is the Asian Airlines. He's targeting China next two months and Japan on next six months. I am glad and proud for his glorious achievement.

I quickly dialled Louis' number as I unlocked my car and put my things at the back. I ignite my car and start to drive, still waiting for Louis to answer his phone. His voice mail came and I look confusedly at the road. Voice mail? For what I know is Louis always answer his phone when I ring him.

I left a message telling him to come to my flat for dinner. I stop by in a grocery store, buying some ingredients for our dinner. Eleanor is out today, visiting her friends and partying nonstop. I look at my watch again, a few more minutes until I can get home.

I finished cooking my Chicken Alfredo pasta and baking my chocolate tart. I had already set our table and the plates. The food was neatly arranged at the center and a bottle of wine was sitting next to it.

Now, everything is already set. Only Louis is missing. I waited for him, looking at my phone every minute. I waited for hours and hours, the candle already melted and the food is cold now. I look at my clock and it's already midnight now. I let a tear fall from my eyes and put the foods in the fridge. I walked inside my room, changing my working clothes to my night clothes. I lay in my bed, thinking of Louis and why he didn't show up. Louis, where are you?

I woke up wih someone tapping my shoulder. I yawned and stood up, seeing a worrried looking Eleanor with a laptop and my cellphone on her hands. I looked at her, confused and worried. She gave me my cellphone and I unlocked it, I saw a message come from Louis and my eyes started to water as I read it all.

Reese, I have something to tell you. I lied to you, played you and your feelings. I can't do this anymore because the guilt is eating me alive. You're a nice girl, a girl who deserved to be loved and cherished. At first, I think you're pretty and nice, I was attracted to you like a bee finding a honey. I continued to do a research about your family and I was interested to find out how can you cope up with your dad and mom's life. I'm sorry, I hope you'll find someone better than a lying bastard like me.

My tears started to flow down at my cheeks as Eleanor enveloped me into a warm hug. I can't believe it. It's all a game. How can I be so naive? I already had my first experience and it was horrible. And now I'm broken, again, why can't God give me someone who wouldn't play me and leave me broken? What did I do wrong? I continue to cry and suddenly my phone rings, attracting mine and Eleanor's attention. Eleanor pick it up and after a minute, her face was drained.

"Louis is in the hospital."

DUN DUN DUN! :) HIIII GUYSSSS! I UPDATED AGAIN. WOOHOO IT'S FINALLY OUR VACATION HERE IN THE PHILIPPINES AND WHOOP 2 MONTHS NO SCHOOL. ♥ Sorry for not updating for two months :( I'm busy with everything and requirements, the teachers, and tests was filling my schedule and I don't have enough time to open my wattpad and write. I hope you enjoy this chapter. I love you guys and I'll try to update often now. bye! :)
