Chapter 8

Aiden's POV.

I walked into the closet knowing where she was hinding. I said "You can't hide from me. I'll catch you and will eat you. Ha.ha.ha." I opened the door of closet and pulled her out and hold me so tight. I did all that just to scare her I wasn't so serious till she shouted and banged my chest " please don't kill me. Please leave my parents. Please. Please don't hurt me. Let my mom and dad go. I beg you please..." what? What is she saying? What do I have to do with her parents?

I gave her a jerk to bring her back to senses. She looked up in my eyes. I could see some fear and innocence in her eyes. She hugged me softly. My heart started beating like it's going to burst out. I looked in the mirror of the closet. I could see my eyes turning light brown. "What color that mean?" I murmured. She looked at me and backed up as she said " Are you Okay? Why are your eyes like this? Why are they changing color?" I said
"Nothing."

I grabbed her hand and said " arn't you bored in this place? It's like a cage to you, right?" She nodded.
Oh, and I'm a brutal, heartless monster to her.

I asked her to change into something good as I left the room. I asked Ritta to help her get dressed and I waited down stairs. It took almost a 3 hours and after that she came down in front of me. I scanned her from head to toe with my mouth open. She was wearing a yellow dress I don't know what is was but she was looking just gorgeous. I couldn't take my eyes off of her but she seemed a little bit uncomfortable from my stares so I looked away.

I took her hand and walked towards the door. She got so red with my touch. We both got into the car. After few minutes she asked " Where are we going?" I never answered and I drove the car to my parent's home . She asked " Where are we?" I replied " You are going to see it. Don't be so eager." She rolled her eyes and muttered " who's eager?"

The guards opened the door as we both arrived. My whole family was there. They all were excited to meet my mate but the smile on my mom's face showed that she is going to hug her in any moment and after few seconds it actually happened Harley weaved her hand and greeted " Good after noon all of you." My mom almost jumped and hugged her like she is not going to finish the hug but after few moments she had to.

She stated " ooh sweetheart,  you are even more cute than I thought!" She turned back towards me " Aiden, you must have done something really good in your life that is why got have granted you such an adorable mate." I just nodded. I mean how should I react on it when I agree that she's beautiful. Ahem ahem, why am I talking like this? Forget it.

I asked harley to stay with my family while I left for my best friend. He knows every thing about me, actually he know more about me than I know about myself. I sat in front of him and asked " Gabriel, please tell me what is happening to me?" He smirked and replied " You should know that!" I rolled my eyes as he asked " what happened now?" I was so concerned about my situation. I told him every thing about harley, from our first meeting to the strange change of eye color.

I asked him " Please bro, tell me. I have to know" he chuckled and sad
"Hahaha, I've never seen an alpha like you . I mean how can you be so dumb?" I cleared my throat and replied " Ahem ahem, what do you mean?" He was still chuckling as he stated " Fool, you are in love with your mate, our luna. " My eyes widened after hearing that and I murmured.

An alpha in love?
That's impossible.
I can't love her.
No, I shouldn't.
She's human.
Never.
No, no.
