In the mirror stands a beautiful girl. Thick red hair, dazzling green eyes. Her hair is neatly braided, so that a braid is laid on her shoulder. I love this girl, but this girl is not who I want to be. I want to be adventurous, daring, not ruling a kingdom, not killing innocent people.

"Fix your posture! You're tiara is drooping! Lift your chin and tuck your hair behind your ears!"
I do as my mother says, for the more I listen the quicker this lesson can get done. All I want to do is pick up my bow and do some archery.
A sting crawls around in my cheek, and I'm forced back into reality. I must've zoned off, and Mother must have hit me. "Pay attention!" she croaks.
When Mother's voice gets too high it cracks. It's like she's so angry, she's willing to spew tears all about herself. Mother is never known to cry, but when she does, you better listen, or you'll get a beating. "Now," Mother starts back up again, "what do you say when the princes arrive?"
"Hello Gifted Princes. I am Princess Rosalin Rohan of Wonderlock Kingdom, and I am blessed to have you as my selection of kings."
I make sure no enthusiasm is heard in my words. I hate the King Choosing. It forces a princess to choose from a selection of nasty princes.
Usually the Choosing goes well, but 24 years ago it didn't.
Queen Alexandria was the most beautiful queen there has ever been. She had bright crystal blue eyes, like the ocean waves, and black night hair. Men all around the kingdom were in love with her. From a peasant to a king from another kingdom, they were drooling when she walked by. Alexandria loved the attention, and one day she decided to change the rules. Alexandria set into place a rule that stated the she is aloud to choose any man from the kingdom, no matter if he had royalty or not. Excited by this new rule, every man filed into the castle doors, hoping to win Alexandria's heart. After five days of searching, Alexandria found the perfect one. John Clarke, the towns baker, or as he is now known as, Mutant Ruler.
Once Alexandria met this wonderful man, she ordered that the marriage take place two days later, and that's when it fell apart.
At the wedding John Clarke didn't look himself. He was pale, his eyes were red, and his lips were an icy blue. Everyone was alarmed by his looks, and they started to panic. Was the wedding to be cancelled? They all thought.
Murmurs and whispers filled the room, but there was one voice above the others. John's. John roared in pain, and soon enough his eyes were bulging out of his head and his mouth flooded with blood.
The crowd screamed and tried to cram their way through the palace doors, to get out of this horror scene, but it was too late. John viciously attacked nearby guards and citizens. Soon 24 people were infected along with John. The infected were taking over the town, spreading the disease to everyone they saw. By the end of the night, 257 people were infected, and more than 30 were mutated.
And that's when my family came in, or so they say. They say that they conquered the mutated and banished the diseased, freeing the kingdom, but I don't believe that. The townsfolk brew with lies, and so does my family. Every king, every princess, every queen, and every prince has ascended to the Rohan Crown, and every single one has told a lie.
