Chapter 2

"When I was walking towards her I noticed Cardin and his friends against my locker. "Pyrrha, this is Lie Ren. I met him this summer at a training  camp." I smiled at him and said hello. He said nothing and I started walking the rest of the way to my locker. "Excuse me Cardin, can you leave me and my personal properties alone?" He smiled and pushed himself off my locker.

"Hey Pyrrha, How about you and me get together sometime and have some fun. What do ya say, tonight at the boy's dorms?" What the... Oh no! I'm the one they were talking about in the locker room. I started putting stuff in my locker and Cardin wrapped his arms around my waist."Hey! What do you think you're doing!" He hugged me tighter. "Don't be scared babe. I got you."

I tried to elbow him but his arms were holding mine down. He tried to kiss me but he was met with a sword in front of his face. "Let go of her. I know she doesn't like you and she doesn't want to be around you, so leave." I followed the sword up to the face of its beholder. It was Jaune.

"And how do you know that, blonde?" Jaune moved the blade close to Cardin's through and he let go. I put the rest of my stuff in my locker and walked over to Jaune and hugged him lightly. "Thank you, Jaune." He tensed up when I hugged him.

"You do know that at least twenty people are watching us right now." I opened my eyes and let go of him. I have no idea why boy's do this, but once I let go he rubbed the back of his neck. Without another word, I walked off to my next class.

"We have a new student in this class today, he transferred from another class. So treat him like he's  been here from the beginning, Okay?" Great, just what I needed. Jaunes in another one of my classes.I looked around the class and the only open seat was next to me and I was in the back of the class.

When he sat down, I looked away. "Hey pyrrha, how's it going? Sorry for making a big deal in the hallway." I went to talk to him, but the teacher gave me and him detention for it. I hate mostly every teacher in this school and this is why. After that class was lunch and I ate with Nora and Lie Ren.

"So,How was class with Jaune?" Nora said teasingly. I put the hood on my... I mean his jacket up. "What's the matter, Pyrrha?" I was startled when Lie Ren said this. I stared out the window and said,"I really don't know why I'm out of it, Lie Ren." I kept staring out the window and he responded with,"It's just Ren."

The rest of the day went by smoothly. I didn't run into any of my friends or enemies the rest of the day until detention. I just got out of hunters  training and  I sat down. Jaune walked over and sat down next to me and I thought to myself, what is with this guy and wanting to always sit by me?

"Hey, sorry about today and getting you detention. Would you forgive me Pyrrha?" I playful punched him and sarcasticly said," No I will never forgive the person who saved me from going out with Cardin!" He laughed.

His eyes sparkled as he laughed and I saw that when Cardin and him were in hunter training, Cardin gave Jaune a black eye. Only every second I was staring at it, it started healing very rapidly. Faster than any black eye I've ever had. I wonder what his semblance is?

I began to doodle and Jaune just sat there, staring at my doodle. I drew a Grimm that appeared to only be made out of metal gears and scraps. "Wow, you're really good at drawing. All I can do is this." He showed me a good drawing of a dragon.

I always was good at drawing stuff with gears and I really don't know why. But after that, we just sat there and talked about our classes and got to know each other. We asked each other a bunch of random questions.

"Favorite color?" He answered, " it's yellow, your's?" I answered with,"red. What is your-" Before I could finish asking my question, the bell for me and Jaune to go home rang.He got up and put his hanď on my shoulder. "Hey, this has been fun. Let's do it again sometime. Just maybe not in detention."
