Sasah's eyes fluttered open to see the sky above her through a large patch in the tree branches. After a few moments she bolted up wards scaring the birds around her; soon realizing that moving quickly so soon after laying down for awhile was a bad idea. Her head began swimming. she put a hand to her head closing her eyes again tightly to regained her center of gravity. she opened her eyes again remembering where she was.

"I guess I'm not going to school today...." sasha said outloud to herself looking up at the sky trying to see where the sun was and how much time had passed during her nap. The sky was light blue now and the sun was peeking through the tree branches to her left. Four or five hours had passed since she'd fallen asleep.

Leting her eyes wander around, after settling with skipping school for the day, is when she noticed the sparrows gathering back around her. She looked at them with curiosity. She hadn't seen this many here before. Normally there might have been like five or six.

One in particular caught her attention. It looked like it was looking right at her, and in its beak it held the heart she had created earlier. The sparrow with slight difficulty flapped closer with the heart until it was right at her feet then stopped landing back down on the forest floor. It droped the heart, after a moment of continual staring, onto her foot. As soon as it did that it hopped away three paces in a zig zag. Sasha reached out and picked up the palm sized ornament impressed the small bird could pick it up.

Looking down at it Sasha gasped her eyes going wide as the twigs and branches began to grow and twist together tighter.. She dropped it and jumped to her feet. Staring in awe and shock she watched as it quickly formed into a strange but beautiful tree. Its branches on the right side twisted and turned into a heart shape.

Once it had stopped growing Sasha curiously walked up to it and placed her hand on it. Flashing images raced through her mind off everyone she cared about friends and family. Images of every wish she had ever casted out to the stars came flooding back. Sasha gasped and stepped away from the tree. She looked around suddenly and realized it was dusk. The orange twilight lights lit up the sky. She spun around in shock staring at the sky. It had just been late morning.... Maybe she was still dreaming?

Sasha looked back to the tree and saw a sparrow perched in the center of the heart shaped part of her new tree. She held her hand out and the small bird flew to it landing on the tips of her fingers.

Sasha felt something large move in a small fluttering motion behind her but when she turned there was nothing there. She noticed some kind of weight on her upper back though. Turning her head this time Sasha gasp jumping and scaring the bird out of her hand and back to the trees.

Sasha fell to the ground trying to crawl away from the giant things behind her but they seemed to be attached. After staring at them long enough and taking a second to calm down she realized they were giant wings. They seemed to be her own.

Very gingerly she tried to move them. Surprised at the easiness of their movement she stretched them out. Testing their motion she flapped them slowly once and then curled them around so she could reach them easier with her hands. Delicately she brushed her fingertips across the smooth soft feathers. She could feel it.

"This all feels so.....real..." she breathed quietly amazed.
