Neiro:
After Shira agreed to surviving together I didn't think of what would happen in the future at the time but what happened, happened. I never really thought of her as a threat to be honest, but then again I didn't know what she can really do, all I know that she can do is change to a half breed and throw dirt and leaves at me at the time.
The night had passed and I was finally able to see what Shira looked like, her tiger-like tail, claws, and ears had gone, back then she wore ripped-up and tattered shirt and shorts that looked like they belonged to a peasant's child...well honestly I wore the same thing but mine is in better shape, she had long dark brown hair that went to the middle of her back, really, really pale skin and eyes that were as blue as the sky at noon.
"Hey, Neiro? Can I ask you something?" she asked.
"Sure, what is it?" I replied
"How long have you been here in the forest?" she asked.
"At least 2 or 3 years" I replied. I wasn't expecting her to ask me that "what about you, how long have you been here Shira?"
"I've been here my whole life to be honest, but I've also wandered a few villages but only at night if there are no guards..." she sighed and looked down as if she was going to cry.
"If I may, why only during the night? I mean when you don't look like your half cat, you could easily blend in with all the other kids, right?" confused I had to know.
But after I had asked she gave me a strange and irritated look.
"Oh, ok so I'll just walk right into a village, with no mother and no father, looking like I was a slave that was treated horribly, and smells like a bunch of if not thousands of decaying animals, looks like I haven't seen the sun in years, and act like everyone knew me. Great idea!" she had changed form again.
"Well first of all you don't smell that bad to be honest, and with a little fixing up I think you could pull off being a human child" she was still irritated but now also confused.
"And how do you suppose we do that? And it's not like we need anything from the villages...do we?" that was a good question of her to ask and I got an answer.
"Yes, we do. We'll need new clothes, food...."
"Food? Theres plenty of food out here, you just got to know how to catch it" I looked at her a little disgusted as if she was a psychopath "should I show you how?"
"N-no thanks I'm fine..." I wasn't to comfortable with the idea and vision of that at all. "I'll eat the food from the villages, thank you." After I said that she stood there and laughed.
"What you don't like meat?" laughs "Besides I never said I eat it raw...it's way too juicy raw." I shivered at the thought of that, but what does she do with it I wonder.
"Well I was raised in a village I'll eat in a village." I said stubbornly and she just smiles and laughs again.
"Okay, okay fine we can eat village food, but we can't just walk into a village and expect to be handed food you know." she was wasn't joking about that, that's for sure.
"How about we j-" something snapped, and an arrow flew right past my face and hit a tree in front of me just above Shira's head. After noticing the arrow she began to change...not into a half breed but into a big cat that has white silky fur with black stripes coming down her back and blue eyes. Her claws were straight out and sharp, ready for a kill. Her eyes fix upon a tree which the arrow had came from, and death written across her face. "Neiro, go" I heard a voice say in my mind. I stumbled back in fear of not only the voice but of her, she was staring at me. "Neiro, go" the voice repeated, how did it know my name i wondered. "Neiro I will ask you one more time, go, or I'll make you go, and trust me it won't feel pleasant!" right then I knew it had to be her, it had to be Shira.
