Chapter 9
Zayn’s POV
“Kiss the prettiest girl in the room” Niall says to Harry. It was Harry’s turn and he picked dare. Everyone leans in to see what he’s gonna do. Obviously he’s going to kiss Eleanor, those two are undeniable in their love. Perrie, Eleanor, and Juliette stare at Harry and he kisses the prettiest girl. Our mouths drop open.
Harry’s POV
I just couldn’t help it; her green eyes were hypnotizing me. I just went for her lips. She is the prettiest. I see Eleanor’s face darken, as tears fall out of her eyes. She gets up and runs out of the room. Perrie gives me the middle finger, and chases after her friend.
“What the fuck is wrong with you!?” Liam scowls at me, and goes after Perrie.
“I’m confused…” Louis says, looking up from his wheelchair. He still doesn’t remember anything.
“I don’t know, I just did the dare.” I say, looking down at my shoes. Juliette is still frozen, touching her lips.
“Harry. How could you do that to Eleanor! How could you do that to me.” Niall sighs. He leaves the room. Juliette rolls out after him.
Zayn stands up and looks down at me with his lips pressed tightly together.
“Za-Zayn wait.” I say, but Zayn just raises a hand, and walks out disapprovingly.
“What’s happening, where’s everyone going, I was having fun!” Louis throws his hands in the air.
Juliette’s POV
“Niall are you ok” I ask, I roll my wheelchair next to Niall, who’s standing outside on the balcony. The night sky, is filled with bright stars. My mom once told me, every star was a life on Earth. Today’s special, we don’t usually get this many stars in London.
“I don’t know, I mean I thought he was my friend.” Niall says looking up at the sky.
“I didn’t know you felt about me, in that way.” I grab his hands, and play with his fingers. Niall looks at me, and smiles sadly. He points at the sky.
“The sky is beautiful tonight, it looks like a million lights in pitch black darkness. Look it’s the big dipper.” Niall says looking down at me. I can see his blue eyes, twinkling next to the stars.
“Yes it is beautiful.” A long peaceful silence comes between us, I don’t want to break it but I must. I can’t stop wondering.
“If you do like me, why did you run away from me that day we met?” Oh no, don’t cry Juliette. He’s going to think I’m stupid. Niall thinks and leans against the railing. He sighs and turns towards me.
“I’ve never told anyone, this so you have to promise me that you will not tell a soul. It’s my guilty secret, I should’ve told everyone a long time ago.” Niall face turns pale, and he holds my hands in his.
Niall’s POV
I should have just told Louis, so he wouldn’t have tried to bribe me with his phone. None of this would have ever happened if I had just told the truth. I open my mouth as silence fills the air.
“I’m not Niall.”
