Never Leaving Your Side

Jacks pov:

We walked out. Me behind Dan. My tail flicked from side to side and my ears were straight up. We found our way back to the room and i was met with Skyler smiling at me. Then all i could hear was squeals.

Then i was being attacked.

I screamed and wriggled around. The thing got off of me as i opened my eyes slightly. It was Phil. My eyes widened.

"I-im so sorry Phil!!" i apologized and hugged him. He hugged back and smiled.

"Its fine its just.... Your so cute!!!" he said pulling out of the hug and looking at me. My own eyes widened as a slight blush fell over my face.

"I-i uhh... T-thanks..." i smiled, looking down. Phil nodded with a huge grin. Dan gently pulled Phil off of me and i got up. I swayed back and forth as i got used to standing on two feet again.

I felt a hand on my shoulder and i turned around. Skyler was grinning.

"Skyler!!" i breathed and tackled her in a hug. She hugged back and giggled.

"Jackaboy..." she laughed and pulled away to put her forehead on mine.
"I've missed the real you." she smiled as she whispered that and i grinned.

"Me too...." i whispered back. She smiled as we hugged again. I heard a squeal and turned around to find Phil attached to Dan's arm with eyes like a happy anime character.

"YOU HAVE A TAILLL!!!" he said and jumped on me again. I hissed once his hand came in contact with it and his eyes widened. I curled my bright green tail around my body as my kitten like eyes glared at him. He put his hands up in defence and backed up into Dan's chest for safety.

"Hasn't anyone ever told you to not touch a cats tail?" Dan whispered to Phil with a chuckle.

"I-I just thought...." he mumbled as he turned around to look at Dan. Dan smiled softly and pet his black hair.

"Me no like my tail getting pet." i mumbled with a slightly angry tone. Phil nodded and apologized. I nodded and accepted it. Skyler explained that she would come in here every day with me, let me change, and then allow me to run around in human form. My eyes lit up at the thought of not having to stay in a cage all day.

"How about two or three times a week? I don't want people getting suspicious." Dan offered. My hope dimmed a bit but i stayed happy.

"That's fine! Thank you!" Skyler pipped up with a grin. I nodded and sighed. I stretched out fully and yawned like a kitten. Phil bit his lip and giggled. I rolled my eyes and stumbled a bit. Skyler chuckled and put a hand on my back.

"Jacky... You should change back so you can sleep." she said quietly and i nodded. Dan looked up at the clock and informed us that it was 7:45. I yawned again and stretched out again.

"When i change back, the clothing you gave to me will stay the same size. It'll just fall off of me when i turn to a kitten. Don't worry." i smiled and they all nodded. I changed back in a small poof of green smoke.

I opened my eyes to a bunch of fabric and mewed to make sure i was a kitten. I was. I felt warm hands wrap around my frail body and i mewed again. Skyler lifted me up to her face and smiled. I waved my fluffy hands around until they rested on her nose. She giggled and scratched me gently. I purred and closed my big icy blue eyes. She giggled again and then started talking to Dan and Phil. I laid in her arms and slowly slipped into the darkness of sleep.

Now i can start thinking like a kitten.

I want a family again...
