Chapter n°3: The Moon Is Raging

As the guards threw her into the hall, me and Solomon were both staring at her then he told me not to get distracted and that we must focus on our plan but no matter how many times he repeated it I kept turning my head to check on that girl, she had few marks on her skin ..few ugly marks proving she was pretty beaten up by those guards. This is supposed to be an orphanage not a prison . She didn't even take a chair , she just headed to a window and and putted her head on the extremity of the window and stared outside  as the fog started to disappear and the sun began to set down then the bell rang ,announcing diner time ..few moments later silence dominated the room as everyone left

"Let's go Marcus " said solo

"Go on without me I'm not really hungry tonight." I replied

The girl is still there , near the window with her long curly red hair on her back , I was curious so I went toward her when she finally spoke with a sad voice "Don't come any closer , I'm not worth talking to anybody .."

Then I noticed a tear falling from her face as she continued " please let me alone ..I'm not in a mood to make any friends , I don't need anybody ..."

I set in face of her staring at her on the other extremity of the window as she slowly turned her face to me and glanced at me

"I can say a lot through your scars on your arms.... We can say you went through hell "I said

She ignored my talks and changed her face expression "Why didn't you go to the dining room with others ..you're probably starving now "I added

"I'm not hungry nor starving as you said .."

"Its a beautiful sunset outside isn't it ? Especially with this fog outside ,no wonder you kept looking outside since you came in "

"It would be a lie if I told you that I find peace looking at the nature but we can't deny the fact that it makes me feel better "

The sad expressions slowly vanished from her face , I had to keep going its the best I can do " my name is Marcus ..what about yours ? "
She remained silent for a moment then she said " mine is Amelia ....you might be asking why did get beaten up , the answer is obvious I tried to go to places I shouldn't have tried to find but I always get caught"

My vision field reduced while I was trying to think about these places because I first thought she was trying to escape but no..

"Why would you go there ? And where is that place located ? "I asked

"I heard there was a basement where all the secrets this place can hold are hidden, once someone succeeded to go there ..he would never come back from where he went , its an only one way path and I don't have much things to do with my life I don't feel anything anymore ...."

I turned my head to the window the night had  finally set and j could notice the full moon that was outside ..enlightening all of us and pronounced these words " When you mix your feelings with fire ..all you get is a reflection of your desire.."-"these were my father's words" I whispered .

"Your father was a wise man I think ..this actually applies on m-"
I cut her words while saying " ..wise enough to let me stranded and holding on false hopes ..yeah "

Only silence remained after that ,she sometimes looked outside through the window and sometimes peeking and staring at me , true her curly red hair had a beauty that cannot be described under the moonlight ,her grey eyes were clearer than the moon itself *how can a girl like her be in a place like this..*
Silence finally broke up when Solomon entered the room running and heavy breathing "MAH ...MAH....MARCUS I FOUND IT .....I FOUND A WAY  "

"Wowowow talk slowly let me understand it .. You found WHAT ?!"

" A DAMN WAY .... A DAMN PLAN TO GET THE HELL OF HERE "
after a moment when he took his breath back to normal he added " we must first go to a place to get necessary tools and stuff ..its a basement called : Vertigo "

Amelia got up so fast when she heard that word and walked toward Solomon pointing him with her finger and said "You won't go there without me ,if you go alone ..You WON'T RETURN ..unless I come with you I have a way out "

"Who the hell is that girl !? Did you told her about our plan? "

"No ..but she told me about her plan and she deduced that we both have common goals ..I mean who wouldn't have heard you when you came in shouting like that haha..she's Amelia by the way and Amelia this is Solomon .."

Then I whispered "let the moon be our only witness for tonight so she can rage and feel our agony if we ever failed ....
