Chapter one - The Loss

You are about to hear the story of Alyssa.

Alyssa was a smart girl she never gave up and had a very strong soul. She was 13 years old. It was the year of 1852 Alyssa was the daughter of Max and Kelly Heaven the King and Queen. The king wanted a son but when he saw his little girl he knew she would be perfect. Alyssa always thought her dad didn't love her but that changed when her mother died of cancer but of course, they didn't really know what cancer was so they just said she died because she was ill. Alyssa got everything she had dreamed for after that she never complained. She liked her life before she always told her dad that but he just bought more stuff. One day when her father was out of town and she was alone she made a big card for her father she made it so it looked very fancy and very nice she wrote...

~Dad I know you miss mom and I miss her too but I will always love you no matter what. I know that she will always know you and I love her and that we will be fine without her. I hope you read this letter and know that you don't have to buy me stuff to make me stay in our big house because I love you. Love Alyssa Heaven.

When Alyssa woke up the next morning she looked at the clock and knew her dad would be home from his morning golf round. She ran downstairs and ate her breakfast as fast as she could. She waited by the door for 35 minutes until she heard someone walk onto the porch, she opened the door when the bell rang to find a man, Tall with jet black hair wearing a thick black suit. Alyssa said "oh you are not my father. Do you know where he is?" The man then asked if he could come inside to talk with her. The maid said it was fine. They walked over and sat in the living room. Alyssa then asked her question again. Do you know where my father is? The man reasoned, Sadly yes your father is dead he was golfing the last hole when somebody I'm not sure who had hit him in the head with a club. Alyssa sadly ran out of the room screaming and crying. The man tried to follow her up the stairs but a maid named Izzy had stopped him. She said I have been like a mother to Alyssa since her mother passed away and you shall not even dare to go up there and try to comfort her I shall go and you will sit in the living room and wait or you will leave. The man went and sat down in the living room once more. The other maids came in and had asked what had happened to the king. They ran off and went to make his grave. They also made a spot to bury him. As you read the grave it said:"The best dad ever." It also said King Max Heaven.

Chapter 2 - The Lost one.

The day of the funeral Alyssa didn't go, she had too much work to do.

She had to figure out how to keep the house working and how to get the maids to stay and give them their money. Alyssa was sad and that's why she kept herself busy to keep her mind off of the king. She may have been strong at heart for a 13-year-old but eventually, she would crack. She wore less formal clothing during the day because she was always working and never stopped. The only times she wore formal clothing was when she went into town. Her people didn't know that her father was dead but did know that something was wrong. Alyssa didn't know how to tell them, so she thought of many different ways to do it but she didn't think that any of them would work well enough. It was the time of the month where they had to eat that horrible steak that his father always made, and it was her mother's favorite food. She ate alone, mourning the death of both her parent. "In less than a year both my beloved parents die, and I'm left alone with my maids," she yelled, crying so loud everybody in the castle heard her. Then the maids zoomed in and comforted her, and said, "Look we will be your mom and father figure for now, but you'll have to get adopted and still live here. Or you could become a young queen, it's up to you." "Can I think about it plz, maids, I need to do what my parents would want me to do, ya know?" She stated that, and they left. She got into her pajamas even though it was not late, she went to her warm fluffy bed and ate some warm cookies and milk and fell into a deep sleep.
