The sun blazed, creating light to complement the rocky cliff side with a vast canyon separating the 2 ends. "He's not going to make it" Tod said nervously as he hid his face behind his hands "If he doesn't we're as good as dead" Dean calmly responded. Tyler stood a couple meters away from the canyon, took a deep breath, and started sprinting towards the hulking canyon separating him from his destination. He closed his eyes as he finally jumped, launching himself into the air. It was like time froze as he flew across the canyon. Finally he opened his eyes, determined to reach the other side and to not die. "H...He's going to make it" Tod shouted in excitement as Tyler landed with his feet only millimeters away from not making it. "I...I made it" Tyler shouted, full off excitement "You made it" Tod shouted still full of excitement as he and Tyler hugged each other. "We might have a chance at not dying" Dean said while showing a slight smile.
Later that day Tod and Tyler went to Tyler's house, still pumped from their achievement. The door was quickly opened as they stepped inside and saw Tyler's mom sitting at a table and reading a book "Hi Emma" Tod said as he walked over to a sofa and collapsed straight onto it "Hi Tod" Emma sighed before turning her attention to their facial expression's "Why do you boy's look so happy anyway" she added "Just an accomplishment we're proud of" Tyler responded "Very proud" Tod added while still lying down on the sofa. Tyler stood still and listened to the howl he could hear, and he was almost certain it was Dean's "Err, I'm going to do some... Homework i have to go" Tyler desperately and hastily said before running out the door "Ye me too" Tod said before running after Tyler "You don't even any paper with you" Emma shouted just as they left the house. "What is it" Tod asked "I heard a howl" Tyler responded as Tod just looked confused "Okay, what's with the rush to get out the house" he asked as Tyler responded with "It was Dean's howl... and I'm certain he's in trouble"
