Ashley's POV:

I had finished performing at a concert a few weeks later and was talking to Blake and Jason backstage while we watched Tim sing. Blake was telling us a funny fishing story of his.

"So I had the fish on the line and was reelin' it in. The fish was so big that my rod looked as if it was about to snap in half! My buddy, Will, was in the back of the canoe with the net, reading to get 'er in the boat. Suddenly the fish gives a hard yank and tips the canoe! Will and I fall into the river and I drop the rod as I tried to get my head above the water! All of our lures tackle boxes, nets, everything sunk to the bottom of the river!" Blake told us.

Jason and I busted out laughing, clutching our sides. Then I looked over Blake's shoulder and immediately stopped.

There I saw Luke kissing some girl that I didn't know, her hands in his short, brown hair. Luke was holding the girl's hips. Tears burned my eyes and could almost feel my heart breaking in my chest. I turned around, shoved Jason out of the way, and ran to my truck. I heard Blake and Jason call after me but I didn't care. I hopped up in the driver's seat and tore out of the parking lot.

As I drove, my eyes were so watery from tears that I could barely see the lines. Eventually I just pulled into a nearby parking lot and started sobbing. I knew that I couldn't go home so I decided to find a hotel to crash at tonight.

Luke's POV:

I was talking to my manager when a fan rushed up to me.

"OMG! Luke you are such a good singer!" she cried.

"Thanks darlin'. Ya want an autograph?" I asked her. I heard Ash and Jason laughing and smiled at them.

"No. I've got a better idea," the fan whispered in my ear, before grabbing my head and crashing her lips against mine.

I was stunned for a few seconds before grabbing her waist to try and push her away. Vaguely I registered that Ashley had stopped laughing. When I heard Blake and Jason yelling for her to come back I roughly pushed the girl away from me.

"What the hell was that?!" I yelled at her.

"I-!" the girl started but got cut off by Blake.

"THOMAS LUTHER BRYAN!!!!!" He stomped over and grabbed me roughly by the front of my shirt.

"Blake-," I tried.

"Do you have any idea what you have just done?!" Blake snarled in my face.

"Blake, you don't understa-"

"You just cheated on Ashley!"

"I didn't! She kissed me! I swear!" I explained.

Blake looked at the fan. "That true?"

"Y-Yeah. I- I was just-!" she stuttered, before turning and running away.

Blake stood there for a few more seconds, glaring, at me before finally letting me go.

I looked around. "Where's Ash?"

"She's gone Luke. She saw you kissing that girl and took off. You just broke her heart man," Blake told me.

I felt as if I was deflating. "No, she can't be. No, no, no, no!"

I ran my hands through my hair and clutched my head as the news sunk in.

"Luke," Blake called softly, grabbing my shoulders to make sure I didn't fall over.

I struggled like a crazy person to get out of his grasp. "NO! She can't be gone! I have to find her!"

"Luke-"

"She's gotta still be here!"

Blake wrapped one arm around my chest, restraining my arms, and the other around my stomach so I couldn't get away.

"No! Get off of me! I have to find her! Blake, I have to! She can't leave me, I love her!" I half wailed, half sobbed as I fought tooth and nail to get free.

"Luke, man, you need to calm down," Jason ordered as he gripped my shoulders.

I gave up and would've collapsed onto the floor if it weren't for Blake's hold on me. I broke down sobbing.
