Katniss's pov:

I wake you to the sound of my alarm on my phone going off. I quickly turn it off and then realize today is the first day of school. I hop out of bed and go down stairs to make breakfast. I make pancakes for me and prim because there her favorite, as soon as their done I hear prim hurry down the steps

"Katniss did you make pancakes!?" Asked prim

I giggle "yes prim just for you" I said

We sit down and eat after that I go and take a quick shower and get dressed ind a teal colored crop top and blue jean shorts and teal vans, then I blow dry my hair and put it in a side bride. I put on just a little bit of make up and go into prim's room. "you need a ride to school?" I ask her "No rue's mom is picking me up and take us!" Rue is our cousin the only person we know here. is that ok?" "Yes that's fine I was just wondering. I'm leavening now love you!" I say and kiss prim's cheek "Have a good first day as a Junior!" prim shouts down the hall

I laugh "Have a good first day as a 8th grader!" I say.

I hop in the car kinda nervous of who I'm going to meet at my new school me and my family moved to California after mom got I new and better job at the hospital, and dad got I job as a coal miner. I pull up to the school, look and see the most beautiful person I have ever seen in my life.....
