I sat in class alone while everyone else talked. The teacher gave us a free day today.

I would sit with my friend, but she's talking to her new boyfriend. So I'm forced to stay here and look like an idiot. Great.

It was the end of the day at least. People were about to pass out the roses that the school does every year. White is for friend, pink is for I like you, and red is for I love you. Just like every other year, I'm going to be the only one without a rose.

The people came into the room and passed out the roses. Bff/n got a red one from her boyfriend. There was only one rose left, and it was red. Definitely not mine.

"And... Y/n." The girl said handing it to me. "Thank you." I said, smiling. I quickly looked at the card to see who it was from. It said 'C/n :)'.

I smiled, and looked at bff/n who was already staring at me, smiling back. She quickly got up and walked to me.

"Who's it from?" She squealed. I smiled again, "C/n."

"I'm so happy for you." She said. "I can tell." I said.

"What are you going to say to him when you see him?" She asked. "I'll probably thank him, and embarrass myself somehow."

The bell rang. I walked out, and seen C/n. When he saw me, he smiled and walked over to me.

"Hey."he said, smiling. "Hi," I said nervously. "Thanks for the rose." I added.

"Your welcome. So yes or no?" He asked. "What?" I said, confused. C/n laughed, "Turn the card over, and read it."

I looked at the rose in my hand, then the card and flipped it over. "Will you be my girlfriend?" I read out loud.

"So?" C/n asked. I looked up at him, and smiled. "Yes."

We hugged each other right in the middle of the hallway. It must've seemed weird to the people around us, but I don't really care.

"See you tomorrow," C/n smiled at me. I smiled back,"Bye."

Then we both walked to our buses, smiling.
