(JOSEPH'S P.O.V.)

I layed down on the couch. I threw the blanket over me, and tried to go back to sleep. Maybe when Elena wake's up, she will forget what happened.

The bathroom door opened.

Oh great I thought. I could feel my heart beat, speeding up faster by the second. I threw the blanket on my face, so Elena could not see it.

"You know if you are gonna do that, Let me just tell you. That was not the first time that ever happened. Damon did the same, exact thing." Elena said.

I did not say anything.

"What now you are going to ingnore me?" Elena said. I got up, Fine, Let's go, I said. "Go Where?" Elena asked.

Mystery. I said, smirking. "I do not go with strangers, anywhere." Elena replied. Fine, We are going to visit an old friend of mines, well not really friend. More like enemy, or frenemy. And possibly Damon's.

Have you ever heard of Augustine? I asked her. "No." Well, Augustine is..... a vampire tortuing place.

They capture vampires, do expirements on them, and they torture them. But they leave them alive, Because they want the vampires, to..... feel the pain. Me, Stefan, and Damon, were in their for years.

"How did you get out." Elena asked.

It was a miracle, but it caused many life's. Of humans, and vampires. But anyways, One night a year they take some vampires to this fancy resturaunt. So other people against vampires, can see us in pain. But we had a plan.

the vampires they had chosen were Me, Stefan, Damon, And........ Enzo.

They kept us in cages. So we could not break free. None of us were strong enough. But that is why we came up with a plan, Day's before.

In the augustine prison, their were bars, and cages. We were in the same cage. We each got one tiny glass, of human blood a day.

If one person, drank all four of our cup's, each day...... Then, they would be strong enough, to break all of us out.

That one person was Damon.

He got all of us out on that day. But left Enzo too die in the fire. Their was just, not enough time.

I just saw Enzo recently alive. Day's, before I came into mystic falls.

I know how he can help. I said.

"Is the Augustine, still going on?" Elena asked, Sadly. I am not quite sure, really. It might. But Damon killed everyone, in the whitmore family.

The whitmores, they own the Augustine. And have been doing it for at least sense the 1700's. But unless someone else found out about the Augustine. And want's too take a lead on it then........

"Oh." Elena said. We got in the car, and I was driving away. I last saw him in Washington DC, about 4 day's ago. That mean's he should still be in that area, or near it.

we reached Washington DC hours later. it was already night-time.

here, stay in the car Elena. The last thing we need is you getting killed. "No," Elena protested. Does it look like a gave you a choice, Elena?

Elena got out of the car anyways before me. I heard someone vampire speeding in front of us. I went in front of Elena and a vampire bit my neck.

He pulled back and I saw........ Enzo.

Lorenzo, I whispered. How are you alive? "Well that on the other hand, is a mystery. I still too am wondering" Enzo said.

"Now my task, Is too kill you. That's klaus's demand for me." Enzo said. Your working for that, backstabber? I said.

"Well you too, are a backstabber yourself." enzo replied.

"Now who is this Lovely lady?" Enzo asked. A girl, I said. Come on Elena, Let's go. "Elena!" Enzo said. "That is the girl klaus want's me to look for. The Döppelganger! Of Amara." Enzo said, intriguingly.

I litteraly did a facepalm. Goddammit why am I so dumb! Why did I say Elena.

Elena! Run! I shouted. "No I am not going to leave you to die!" I said go Elena! I felt my fangs grow.

I leaped on top of Enzo. "Easy Mate!" He yelled. "I am stronger than you by, centuries! I suggest you don't do that, unless you want a death wish!" Enzo screamed!

Well, I said. Maybe I do want a death wish! I threw him across the road, and he fell into a car.

Another vampire with blonde hair appeared. She grabbed Enzo and threw a vervain grenade on him.

Lexi?!?!! I whispered. You're Alive?! But...... How?

"A witch brought me back to life. A bennet witch to be exact." Lexi said. "Hi Elena!" Lexi said. Wait, You both know each-other?! I asked confused, and shocked.

"Don't act to surprised, Joseph." But I thought you were..... Dead! I spent day's crying, thinking that the love of my life was dead! I said.
