Buttercup was a girl just a girl in the crowd a sea of girls or that's what other people think but to brick ,buttercup was a pearl in the middle of a clam and all you had to do was pry it open and that's what he planned to do...once he introduced himself that is
So walking down the halls talking to his twin sister blossom about how they can build a time machine it was just his luck that he ran into buttercup.....and was speechless...
"Whoa are you ok?" Sounded the angels or at least in bricks case

"Umm I yeah but your feet must hurt though.."

Giving him a questioning face buttercup offered her hand to him  and as he got up she replied with...

"What?"

And he replied with

"Because you've been running through my mind all day"

This comment making buttercup give him a 😒 face making his sister who went unnoticed until now giggle at how much of a fool her brother was making out of himself but also a little shocked brick has always been a lady's man ALWAYS so this was just a little past wired but decided not to comment and just walk away quietly as they talked

"Really dude that was just so cheesy! I've heard better! Is that really all you've got!?"

Buttercup smirked looking up as she now noticed that brick compared to her was taller even if she is a fair 5.6 he seemed to be a 6.7 in height damn she didn't notice that before but still continued to hold her smirk at the now scowling brick as she took his hat and stuck out her tounge at him

But he still had a mission so he decided to introduce himself

"Brick Jr jojo and you are?"
But of course he knew who she was but still he didn't want to sound stalkerish

"Buttercup Jr untunium"
Of course she knew she didn't half to give out her whole name but she for some surprising reason didn't want the conversation to stop....yet...

"Isnt Jr for boys ?"
He always asked that question in his head about buttercup name but never found the answer...yet..

"It stands for buttercup Jasmine rain untunium"
 
So that was the great mystery finally he solved it he's had that one on his bucket list since middle school any who this was a great time to ask her some questions

"Do you have a favorite color?"
He asked as they subconsciously sit down outside the school not even caring much about class
Of course he knew it was green and black but he'd like to make sure of these things

"Yep green and black"
Check

"Fav music?"
Punk rock

"Punk rock"
Check

"Fav ..."

And this went on until lunchtime with them asking each other questions and getting to know each other better it was almost like they were best friends as they entered the cafeteria and left for no reason other than only wanting to be in each other company

Brick was enjoying every second of it...well at least he did...
