(walking in a park afterschool)
"Hey babe. How are you?" Maya asks Austin .
"Good. Why do you look sad?" Austin asks.
"I'm fine" Maya replies sarcastically.
"No your not.what's wrong, babe?" Austin worries.
( Maya starts crying and shaking )
"I just don't wanna talk about it right now okay?"
"Maya, if something is hurting you,I'm always here for you..you know that don't you?"
(Austin hugs Maya tightly as she starts to cry on his chest)
"Yes,I do" Maya says wiping her tears on his shirt.
"Okay,so do you wanna go get ice cream and chill out until you are happy again?"
"Yeah." Maya smiles.
(Austin buys their ice cream and continues walking through the park)
"I love you babe. I don't ever want to see you cry again..kay? Your birthday is coming up and i don't want you to cry this whole month." Austin implies.
"Yes babe. I will try. I love you too" Maya says sweetly.

"Maya won't come to school today, she says she is too sad." Natalie
(Maya's best friend) tells everyone. Natalie tried to call Austin to let him know she won't be at school.. but he is nowhere to be found..
**Austin calls Natalie 5 mins. later..**
(Austin) "Hello?"
(Natalie) "Hey, Austin, just to let you know, Maya won't be coming to school today..she says she is too sad to come..do you know whats wrong with her? "
(Austin) "No. I tried to talk to her about why she was crying yesterday but she said she "doesn't want to talk about it" Austin quotes.
(Natalie) "Then you should go check on her!! Don't you love her?"
(Austin) "yes, I do,but we have school and-"
(Natalie)"-and if you don't go see her,she might hurt herself."
(Austin) "okay,okay,i will go see her."
(Natalie) "Okay then.Bye"
**phone call drops**
"Great,now I have to go see Maya..I swear if i am late to physics..." Austin says half-heartedly under his breath.
**10 minutes later**
*knock knock*
(Maya)"who is it?" Maya says,crying
(Austin) "Babe, it's me...are you okay? Can I come in?"
(Maya) "um..yea.uh...hold on."
**Maya tries to find a long sleeve shirt while going to open her apartment door.**
(Austin) "okay I will wait."
**not being able to find a long enough shirt,Maya opens the door trying to hide her arms and body**
(Austin) "Hey babe,what's wrong?"
*Austin comes inside*
(Maya) "nothing,I'm fine.."
(Austin) "Then why are you still crying and holding yourself like that?"
(Maya) "Because I don't want to be here!!! Okay? I want to die..just..leave."
(Austin) "But babe, I don't want you to-"
*Austin grabs her and holds her tight*
(Maya)" -But I want to!! Let me go!!"
(Austin) "Give me your arms."
*Maya tries to hide them*
(Austin) "Babe,please..I need to help you.."
"Babe,take your clothes off..." Austin asks
"No! don't touch me, my body hurts.." Maya says crying in pain.
"okay, i won't touch you,but just take your clothes off, okay?" Austin says calmly.
*Austin forces her arms out and checks them then checks the rest of her body head to toe*
(Austin) "Maya! Why did you cut your arms ? Why are there bruises and cuts all over your body? Who hurt you? Don't you know that I love you? Don't you know I need you? Why would you hurt yourself like this? I swear babe if you kill yourself or something happens to you, I won't be able to forgive myself. "
(Maya) "just go. I'm hurting and you aren't helping..."
(Austin) "Am..am I the problem? Please talk to me. I am here for you. Please. I only have an hour to get to class and I don't want you to die or cause any more pain to yourself."
(Maya) "Just...go. I am fine."
(Austin) "Babe-"
(Maya) "-Just go."
(Austin) " Okay, I will go, but you better be alive and well when I come back..okay? I love you. And next time this happens,I will not leave you. I promise. "
