"Can I come in?" Liam said poking his head in my office door. I got butterflies in my stomach.
"Uhh.. Yeah come in." I said. He came in and sat in the chair across from my desk.
"What's up?" I asked.
"Nothing I just thought I'd come speak to you." He said smiling the smile that he's always had. The one thats got me through so much.
I smiled back at him then looked at my computer screen to finish going through the pictures. I smiled when I saw the picture of Niall with Liam on his back, you can see how good of lads they are.
"You must be really close with the lads huh?'' I asked.
''Yeah if it wasn't for them i wouldn't be here right now." He said. There was an awkward silence for a moment the he spoke up.
"Its so great to see you again Kaylah honestly i never thought i'd see you, its hard to believe what we're both doing now, i'm in a band and you're an amazing photographer." He said
I blushed "I know, sometimes i think back to all of those great memories and how sad it is that we just lost contact out of no where, actually i would love to get together some time for lunch maybe?" I asked
He smiled then nodded his head. "Oh god yeah that sounds great! Here let me give you my number and we can set it up sometime." He said writing down his number on a sticky note pad i had sitting on my desk then sliding it back over to me.
"Great I'll call you sometime this week and we'll talk about plans then." I said pulling the sticky note off the pad and folding it into my pocket.
"Well we've got a meet'n'great to get to so ill catch up with you later it was so great to see you kay." He said standing up and walking around my desk to hug me goodbye. I stood up as well and wrapped my arms around his neck as he placed his around my waist, i never wanted to let him go. what was i thinking!? I cant feel this way, we're two different people now.
As we let each other go he stopped and kissed my cheek i of course blushed so bad then he turned to walk out.
"Great seeing you too Li." I said quietly to my self.
I sat down at my desk and i couldn't stop smiling. so i got on the internet and searched him just to see what all i've missed. As i scrolled through my heart sank.
"Liam Payne and girlfriend Danielle Peazer seen yesterday at beach."
I read and i felt so bad. But maybe this was for the best, he's in a happy relationship and i'm working alot now so maybe its just not the right time for us.
I decided to hurry and finish going through the pictures and fixing what needed to be fixed and by the time i was done it was almost midnight.
I sighed and grabbed my camera bag and my purse. I locked the door after setting the alarm and walked to the parking garage next to the building that my studio was in.
It was dark and quiet as i walked by myself. usually I wasn't scared because here lately I've been working late in the office so usually its about 1 before i get to go home. but tonight was different i felt like someone was watching me. I walked faster as i got closer to my small car. I turned my head slightly to see a dark figure behind me. i began to run but not fast enough. i was grabbed from behind and hit twice once i was turned around facing the dark figure. he grabbed my purse and took my wallet and my camera i screamed when he kicked me twice after he had thrown me to the ground. I laid there for about 10 minuets after he left and I quickly grabbed my phone out of my purse and took the sticky note out of my pocket, it was hard to see the numbers because of the tears.
Oh god I hope he answers the phone!
"Hello.." He answered, i woke him up.
"Li.." I said my voice muffled because of the tears as well. i sniffled.
"Kay? Whats wrong?! Are you ok?!" He hurriedly spoke.
"Li.. I was mugged I cant walk... Li I'm so scared.." I said, tears were running down my face now.
"I'm on my way get in your car and lock it ill be there as soon as i can." He said..
I didn't want to be here by myself I was so scared. I got up and limped over to my car and got in as quick as I could locking the doors behind me. I had nothing now. My camera was gone, i had everything on there, my work is nothing without my camera. it wasn't long before i saw headlights coming my way. i kept the car locked until i knew for sure it was Liam. As soon as he got out of his car i unlocked mine and ran to him.
He caught me and held me as tight as he could while i cried on him. He stroked my head while 'shh'ing me.
"Its ok Kaylah I'm here now nothings going to hurt you.'' He said ''Come on i'm gonna take you to my place ok?'' He said.
I nodded yes then he picked me up bridal style and putting me in his car. I gave him my keys so that he could lock my car. He got in the driver seat of his car and we sped off towards his house.
