"WHAT!!!!!!!!!!" Yelled Allen. I stared at Cross in disbelief. My mind was running a million miles per second. There's no way he could be my dad, there couldn't be! I glared at him.

"No way. You can't be my dad old man. I refused to believe my biological dad was alive and didn't try to contact me!" I stated while turning away from Cross. He shook his head.

"Old man?!...ignoring that, I didn't know you existed till after your mom gave you up. You think I didn't try to find you? It isn't easy to find your kid when they could be anywhere in the entire world. And now I finally did" he explained calmly as if it was something that he could easily say. I turned around back around and looked him in the eyes.

"Prove it Cross, you either prove it or I don't believe you." I replied making it clear that I wanted proof. Cross looked at me and sighed.

"Kid isn't it proof enough that we have the same hair and both have practically the same personality?"he replied sounding exasperated. I looked at him refusing to budge.

"Pff..same personality. I'd be willing to bet she isn't a womanizing drunk" mumbled Allen. Unfortunately for him Cross and I heard, and the next thing poor Allen knew he was unconscious on the ground after a blow on the head with a hammer. I couldn't hold my laugher in, I mean what can I say! It isn't every day you see a kid get hit on the head with a hammer. Yes that's cruel but it's not like he was mortally injured. Cross muttered someingthing about having a idiotic apprentice before returning to the pervious conversation.

"Look I can't prove it, you have no biological parents on your record so it's up to you to believe me. And if not your still coming with us, I can't leave you here untrained" said Cross. I sighed. What's wrong with me.....why did I want him to have some kind of proof..

"Fine, but I need time to consider the facts and about the going with you, sure I've been planning on leaving this dump since I got here, it's not like I'm gonna miss out on anything. In case you haven't figured it out yet, school isn't my kind of thing" I stated before smirking softly. I bent down and pick up Allen and started to leave the room.

"Plus wouldn't want snowy to have to deal with you all by himself, that would just be mean" I added teasingly before going back to Allen and I's room. Just before I went in to the room I heard Cross yell.

"Hey!! Who are you calling a old man!!!" All I could do was smirk and think that this might actually be fun as I closed the door to our room.
