Okay so this is very important

Everything happens for a reason I assume, well that's what I gathered. It all means something and you don't stop until you figure it out what it means. Kind of like a detective solving a case. It's second nature to us. Let's face the facts here, were're all nosy, we all get curious and wonder what is going on sometimes even though it may have nothing to do with us. It's like when you over here your neighbors fighting you can't tell what for you just can see them from your window. We've all had those moments don't lie.

I don't know what it was like pre-war and all. From what I heard it wasn't much better. People don't talk about it much all i know is in like 2014 the world had this giant war among each other all the countries fighting for some bullshit reason and it lasted 2 years until Europe, USA and China were the only ones left standing basically, then 1 years goes by of those 3 countries fighting and the USA and Europe over threw China USA and Europe joined forces and are now the main sources of government or hierarchy whatever you want to call it. it took a 2 years to get everything into order and set down rules or laws.

They then created a system in which we are completely controlled by, it went as far as being marked so you have to find a soul mate. You and your alleged soul mate have symbols on your hands and together they created something as a whole symbol. it only completes itself when you have found your soul mate. mine is a single stripe, well was. see when a girl is 16 and a guy is 18 you both get sent to a special academy and there you get paired with your soul mate. how this happens is, they keep a record of what your symbol is on what they call a person profiling system or PPS. when you first arrive they give you this hideous uniform. its like a one piece almost like a wet-suit but cloth instead of water resistant material.

After you put that on they send you into what is called a scanning room. The scanning room is a big white room with a giant screen and a platform in front of that. that is the PPS. you stand on the platform and the screen will ask you a series of questions, you answer aloud. after the questioning it will ask you to stand straight with your the back of your hands facing the screen, spread shoulder length apart so they can scan you and then pair you with your soul-mate. A green bar at the top of the screen will appear, a beeping sound emits the speakers and the green bar slides down the screen scanning you so that the PPS will always know who you are. This all takes about an hour. when the overhead voice announcer announces that your time is up you walk through this door to the right of the PPS and it reveals the person who is supposed to be your soul-mate. its pretty straight forward after that. they send you off to a room the size of a dorm with your soul-mate for the rest of the year.

you are not allowed to be with anyone other than your soul-mate, it messes with the balance of the world that has been created. Throwing off the PPS ,If you get caught with someone other than your soul-mate it's an automatic death sentence. Only a few people have tried and even fewer have succeeded.

At the academy you learn to live with your soul mate for a year, they also train you in war combat. that is mostly for guys if they wanted to join the army. other than that it is kind of like a regular school. oh i almost forgot you aren't allowed to have any further education than the 1 year you spend at the academy. this is our life in 2222. i just thought i would catch you up to date.
