The Hooded Watchman

We start our story off back in Locksley where we meet a young girl by the age of fifteen..
She has dark brown, curlyish/wavyish hair that goes to her shoulder blade, bright green eyes that sparkle like emeralds in the sunlight, and a few little freckles embellishing her face. Her name is Melissa...Melissa Leigh Raye Scarlett and she is the oldest of the three Scarlett children.
The second oldest is a lad by the age of thirteen, William is his name. He is tall and thin, such as Melissa, he has dark brown, slightly shaggy hair and beautiful green eyes.
Hold on cause there is still one more child to be mentioned. He is the youngest of the Scarlett clan, his name is Luke. He is of the ninth age and he has light brown, shaggyish hair and is of average height and stature.
Now that you have been properly introduced to the Scarlett children, we will continue with our story..

Will ran out of their dad's workshop with Melissa at his heels. "Will!" She yelled, running after the boy who had just dumped water on her head. She caught up to him and tackled him, leaving them wrestling on the ground. "Enough, the two of you!" Their mother scolded. "Will, come inside and finish your chores. Mel, go finish that project your father has you working on." Will and Mrs. Scarlett went inside and Melissa grabbed her tools and all, setting out for her favorite place to work..a beautiful tree in a quiet part of Sherwood Forest.
After sitting up in her tree, working, for a couple hours, she heard voices and commotion around her. She peered out from between the branches of the tree and saw not only the man by the name of Vaisey, but things she dares not speak of to anyone. To her even greater horror, he saw her watching. She let out a small yelp, scurrying out of the tree, and ran as fast as her legs could carry her. Once she was far enough away, she hid..and once they were gone, she cautiously ran to the outskirts of Sherwood, near her home, climbed up high into a tree, and waited for nightfall for she didn't dare go back home till everyone was asleep for risk of putting her family in danger.. She was now a wanted person...someone with a price on her head.. She sighed and continued carving the little piece of wood in her hand.. It was a little boy and girl hugging and on the back Melissa carved:

'M & W
Forever & Always'

She also made a little figure for Luke..it was a girl holding a young boy on her back and on the back of it Mel carved the same thing except she put an 'L' instead of a 'W'.
Once night had come, she snuck into her dad's shop, first, laying down the project she had been working on, then grabbing a couple pieces of cord which she put on each little figure, turning them into 'necklaces'. She then snuck into the house, grabbing her bag and filling it with any necessities, such as clothes. She lit a small candle and wrote two notes on two different scraps of paper. The first note being written out to Will:

'My dear Will,
When you wake up tomorrow..instead of finding me back in my bed as I know you'll expect..you'll find this note and the small, wooden figure I left for you. I don't know how to say this..but I have to go.. I can't explain why at this time but I want you to know that I love you more than anything in this whole, entire world.
This is the hardest thing for me to do, but I do it for a good reason. Promise me you'll watch over mum and Luke and that you'll become the best man that you can be.
Don't forget any of our memories..don't forget about me..don't forget that your sister loves you so much more than words can possibly explain.

She cried as she wrote and had to be careful not to let her tears drip onto the paper..
The second note, which was for Luke, was similar.
She left each note next to their bed with their necklace/figure on the note. She kissed the top of their heads and with that..she grabbed her bag, slowly walking out of their room, she looked back, whispered, "I love you..I'll never forget you and hopefully this isn't goodbye forever..I'll be back, I promise.." She turned back around and walked out into the darkness, not sure where she was going, but knowing she had to get far, far away from her family and from Locksley.
