06 - hogwarts express

Hermione's PoV
-3 days later-
We were in the Hogwarts Express.
I was inside our compartment with Harry and Ronald, reading The Daily Prophet.

"This is unfair!" I yelled at myself.

"What's unfair 'Mione?" Harry asked.

"How could the Ministry not know who did this-" I said showing him the picture the mark.

I saw the The trolley witch outside.

"Anything from the trolley dear?"

"3 licorice wands and 3 pumpkin pasties please" Ron said standing up.

I saw so Cedric walking to the trolley.
I smiled

"Oh just the pumpkin pastie. Thank you" Ron said.

"2 pumpkin pasties please" Cedric said as the trolley witch handed it.

"Thank you" he said smiling at me. He then mouthed "see you" to me.

I went back to our compartment smiling to my smiling at myself, I don't know why I feel like this whenever I see him.

"Why are you smiling?" Harry asked me.

"Nothing" I lied

"Maybe she saw Diggory!" Ron said dreamily.

I didn't respond to that one because I don't want them to know my feelings for him.

"Ha! She did saw Diggory!" Ron said proudly
I just rolled my eyes at him. I think I need Ginny right now.

-30 minutes later-

We were here, at Hogwarts. I missed this place, the fresh air and everything. I can't wait to go back to the Library.

Cedric's PoV

I tried to spot Hermione from the crowd until I finally saw her with Harry Potter and Ronald Weasley. She's always with them, Since her first year in Hogwarts.

"Mate who are you looking at?" Scott asked me,  my best friend since 1st year.

"No one" I lied

"You're not very good at lying you know," Scott said winking at me.

I sighed why am I like this?

"I'll tell you later," I said. Scott nodded

-30 minutes later-

We were at the Great Hall getting ready for the feast, I tried (again) to spot Hermione and saw her deep in her thoughts. I looked and saw Dumbledore was not there yet. So I decided to approach her, when I walked towards the Gryffindor table I was getting nervous and I dunno why, because of Hermione or maybe because there's so many people I'm gonna embarrass myself.

I didn't notice I was standing like an idiot in the midle of the hall, good thing no one stared at me.

"Mione!" I yelled trying to get her attention
She looked up blushing. I started to walk again and sat beside her. Everyone in the Gryffindor table stared at us but I just ignored them.

"Hey"

"Hey to you too" She greeted me smiling. I love to stare at her when she smiles.

"So, uh how are you?" I asked her.

"Fine, You?" She shook her head.

"Same"

We were distracted when Dumbledore came.

"See ya" I said heading back to the Hufflepuff table.

"Sure" Hermione said to no one.
