After a long boring day at work prince gumball slowly walked up the long staircase that leads to his pink bedroom. But as tired as he felt the last few nights he couldn't sleep. No matter what he tried he just could not seem to find himself slipping into slumber, for his mind was not on the comfort of his bed but on his secrete crush , the undead vampire Marshall Lee. His mind wold only picture his unruly jet black hair to his soft red eyes. "oh Marshall you son of a glob...why are you doing this to me!! You melt my heart by just saying my name but then shatters it in pieces by not loving me..." For the first time in days the candy prince fell into a deep slumber.

The next day was better for gumball. He worked in his lab, baked a cake, went to see fiona his human friend, and even tended to his garden. Due to his pleasant day yet tiring work he fell asleep almost right when his head hit the pillow. For he was not aware of a thick black shadow slip through the open window and into his room. Marshall watched the prince sleep a little. He smirked at s single drop of drool sliding down his soft pink cheek. Curious, the vampire reached down and catched it on his finger then slowly tasting the transparent goo. He smiled as he did but then soon realized that only stalkers like the ice queen would do a thing like that. He backed out of the room slowly when something terrible happened.

As he was attempting to leave, his foot got caught on the dresser and he landed with a crash. Thinking fast, he flew out the window and out into the shadows the very second Gumball woke. The candy prince looked around wildly in Search of what woke him. His eyes saw the open window and the tipped over dresser as the banana guards rushed to the scene. Once they found that nobody's hurt they looked for clues the unknown suspect left behind. Finding nothing the guards left thinking a robber came but chickened out leaving before he can take anything." But if that's true why am I getting this funny feeling that's not what happened at all!"  gumball  said to himself while attempting to sleep yet again but failed epicley. He layed in bed till the morning rays lit his windows and alarm clock sounded.

That morning all Marshall could do was to lock himself in his house and worry. What if he saw me? If he did what now? Hmmm I'll say i was simply trying to scare him. Yes! That's it!! I do it all the time!! He thought to himself while nervously strumming his bass. But soon his thoughts traveled to the memory of the peaceful slumber that overtook the sweet teen. He chuckled to himself wondering if  he would be any fun to "play" with. So it was disided, he was going to take him out to have a good time tonight. Even if it kills him.

That night Marshall flew out and landed on Gumball' s balcony with a thud. Before Gumball was reading a book in bed but now was hiding under the covers cowering in fear thinking the thief has come back to finish the job. Marshall found this opportunity irresistible. He slowly approached his victim when.....BOO!!!!!!!! Marshall pulled backed the blanket and scared Gumball half to death. Marshall then feel on the floor laughing his heart out as gumball's face started to redden with embarrassment. Slowly, he put the pieces together. "wait a minute..." He said making Marshall shut up. " It was you who snuck in my room last night!!" Marshall was just about to freak out thinking he was busted when the younger of the two continued. "You came in just to scare me!! I should throw you in prison!!" "But you won't" Marshall countered." and why wouldn't I!!" Gumball said trying to be brave. "because we are going to a party like it or not!!"Marshall said this as he took hold of Gumball's waistline ant took off into the night with Gumball screaming and protest right beside him.
