Alammar's Eyes
As I was packing my things. I had to check everything off on my checklist:
- Clothes
- Books
- Toothbrush
- Toothpaste
and the list goes on and on. But somehow everything got packed the way it should be.
As I packed my things and headed downstairs and opened the door outside.
Put all my things in a carriage sent by the academy. Since I live with Travius and he was a student at the academy, its not hard to find us. Before I could get into the carriage. I went to Luna's house which is across th street.
It also had a carriage waiting for Luna's presence.
as I slowly tried to knock the door I said "Luna? Come ou-" the door opened causing it to hit my face.
It slightly broke my nose but I didnt really bother since she tends to do that most of the time.
"Well?" with a sarcastic tone. "Shall we go then? Off to the Academy!"
She hurridley went inside her own cart parked on her side of the road.
The cart was packed with 5 luggage bags.
I asked her "What's with the overpacked luggage?"
She smirked and replied "Cause I'm Prepared"
I rolled my eyes and we inside the carts. The two drivers saddled there horses and said "On ward! To the Loading Docks"
The Loading Docks is a terminal for mechanical blimps that carry out a more faster but more expensive transportation than a regular train.
As we arrived at the station, I saw Travius waiting for me.
"Hey kiddo." he said to me like he always says when greeting me and continued with "Your growing up huh? Well.. you know that if there's any trouble, call me, alright?"
Travius is the Captin of the G.J.D. (Golanith's Justice Department)
These are teams of Brave and Skilled officer of justice that uphold the justice of the streets of Golanith. Travius, on his first year only, has earned two promotions, which was an achievement for such officers of his former status since it would regularly take you 2 uears to get promoted once.
But Travius is talented. He is an expert marksman with a bachelor's degree in Fine Mechanics, Alchemy, Souting, Kombat Training and Sniper Training. He could be called "One of Golanith's Finest" if it wasn't for the incident of Alamar's father that the head chief of G.J.D. was extremely dissapointed at him for his failure.
Travius is also a teacher for marskman training at the academy. That's why he left earlier than me since the teachers of the academy were held a meeting at the Loading Docks.
"So how was the meeting?" I told Travius with hint of a childish tone to my voice.
"Oh we were just discussing on the rooms we were assigned to teach in and also your dorms."
"You wouldn't mind if I ask if you know who are my dorm mates, right?"
I said with a Curious tone.
"Yeah, I do."
"Then?"
"Then what?"
"Tell me."
"Tell you what?"
"Who are my dorm mates!"
"Sorry kiddo, these lips are sealed"
"Harumph!"
I was eager to know because most of the children in Golanith thought of me but a son of a betrayer, now they think I'm like my father, they think I would betry them like him . I am born with the curse that I had no choice of receiving. I have mixed feelings for Draven, my father. Somehow I can't feel hatred whenever I was tild about him. Somehow.. a part of me.. understood.
"Hey Al!" Luna shouted as she was carrying around her suitcase embroidered with silver imbelishments.
I was hated by the children.. and yet... she never thought of me as a betrayer.
"The Blimps about to take off Alamar! Come on, Travius will be in a another blimp for the teachers. For now, let's stick together in the blimp." Luna continued.
"Travius. See you there I guess.." I was shaking. I never felt so nervous in my entire life and yet I never felt this excited too.
"Hah don't worry kiddo! It's gonna be alright! We'll have fun at the Academy! Harhar!"
We departed our ways to a different plaform. We both were walking to platform 19. There are 30 different platforms in the Loading Docks since it is the central location of Golanith. In platform 19, there were differemnt types of kids there. Boys and girls with dofferent powers. These kids were those who shunned me and yet they are here too, they don't seem to even be remotly giving any grimace faces. For ones I wasn't treated like an outcast.
"ALL ABOOOOOOOOOAAARD" the conducter cried and the kids were dashing all the way to the entrance while me amd Luna where giving our luggage to the other man on the blimp.
Luna's Eyes
This is it. This would probably be the most important day of my life! Well if you count off actually going to kindergarden. Yes. I'm that one chick that's studious but I say, to me, it's in the family. We all achieve to be succesful in life and that's what I intend to do.
Alamar on the other hand, he's not quite sure of this. But somehow that gives him the charm that made him my friend. Sure he may be a naive guy, but that's why he's my friend. No one ever talks to me because they think I'm a stuck up spoiled little girl like most of the Millionare's daughters in the land. But Alamar.. he doesn't care of my status. Of course, I was the one who talked to him first but still. He didn't bother to run away from me. Because him and I are the same. We bothe were critisized byh our status from our fathers. That's how we bonded.
We both have to stick to each others back since we are each others only best friends. And now we're in this Highly known academy, we intend to do so.
