Introduction
My mom and dad got divorced when I was about 15 and was a freshman. I live with my mom in Florida. My dad still lives in North Carolina were he owns his own business. My mom got remarried a year after they got divorced. My dad isn't married and is not dating anyone at the moment. He recently moved into a bigger house in Connelly Springs, North Carolina. He created a company that has to do with modeling so I now model, mostly for Hollister and Aeropostale. I am visiting my dad for the summer but they aren't out of school for two more weeks so I am going to school for the two weeks so I can see some of my old friends I stayed in touch with. My friend, Ana, from Florida is coming with me to North Carolina because I didn't want to travel alone and she had never been to North Carolina.
Airport
We arrived in North Carolina at night so thank the lord we didn't have to go to school till morning. My dad had some business to take care of so the limo came to pick us up. I really thought it was going to be different, my dad never really had/has time for me. The good thing about that is he feels guilty and he lets me do pretty much whatever I want. When we got to the house my dad still wasn't home, no surprise there, so Ana and I went to my room. We fell asleep on my, queen sized, bed, watching Girl Code.
Parking Lot
I woke up to the maid turning off the television. I noticed it was 7:00 a.m. and school started at 8:00 a.m. so I woke Ana up and began to get ready. I couldn't get my contacts in so I wore my 'nerd' glasses. When it came to choosing my outfit I was set because I had an entire closet, walk-in, full of clothes, my dad had it made specially for me, it looks like Mariah Carey's closet except it has my initials on the marble floor. I decided to go with white short shorts with a blue,superman tank top and blue vans with my superman knee-high socks. Ana decide to go with a white, thick strap tank top with a light blue polka dot skirt and a brown belt at the waist. She also wore light blue peep toe wedges. I got my drivers license, a year ago, so I got to drive the mustang to school. When we parked I got out of the car I heard a really loud scream and I turned around and that is when I saw him, Carter Reynolds, walking with my long time rival Callie. I thought he was cute but I didn't know who he was. Just when I shut the car door Callie left his side to go talk to some of her 'friends' and he walked over to me. He said "I haven't seen you around school and believe me I would have noticed someone like you." I didn't know whether to be insulted or flattered so I just said " is that a good thing?" Then he said definitely and he checked me out and bit his lip. I am surprised I didn't melt into the concrete, I love it when guys bite their lips. Then before Callie told him to hurry up he handed me a folded up piece of paper. All the time this was all going down Ana was getting her books out of the car. When Ana punched me in the arm to get me out of my daze I noticed that Callie and him, I don't know his name yet, had already went inside the school I opened the note it had his phone number on it and it said call me.
Spanish
Since Ana and I were new in the class the Spanish teacher made the entire class say what their names where and he, I learned his name is Carter Reynolds, is in my class. Ten minutes before the bell rang the teacher said we could have free time so I pulled out my I phone and I put Carter's number in my phone. I looked up from my phone and Carter was standing right in front of me staring at me. I smiled and he smiled back at me, his smile gave me the chills. I held out my hand and he said "what" and I said "give me your phone so I can type y number in". Then he handed me his phone and he asked for mine I was confused by I gave it to him anyways. Just as I finished putting my number in the bell rang and I gave him his phone and he gave me my phone back. When Ana and I got into the hallway I looked at what he was doing on my phone. I went on my contacts and I saw his name right next to it said 'date?' I showed it to Ana and I thought it was the most romantic thing ever. Then I thought how Callie and him were together and I was not going to be his 'girl on the side'.
