Dear diary,
Julia and I met in the park today, she looked sad. When we sat down on the bench she said "They were fighting again, I don't know what will happen". I looked at her, her parents have been fighting since she was 11. I wondered why they were still together. I said "You've got me, I'll always help you. You know that". She smiled.
We walked towards our muggle school. We're both in the governments registers so we have to attend both muggle and wizarding school. As we walked towards main Street Kyra joined us "Are you alright Julia?" She asked. Kyra is a muggle but our best friend. "Her parents have been fighting again" I said.
It's hard for Julia and me to go to a muggle school, we constantly have to watch out for our classmates. Kyra knows about us, she protects us when we need it.
Fifth term our headmaster, mr. Marley got me out of class. I hate it when he does that and he knows it. I walked to his office and he asked me to sit down, I refused. He said "We don't know how to handle you Alice, neither does your orphanage. We know you're allowed to skip classes but you do have your exams comming up." I sighted "And you don't want me to fail" I said "I won't". Mr. Marley brought me back to class, it's embarrassing when he does this...
When Julia, Kyra and I were lunching there was this little boy trying to get his lunch back from some bullies. I asked my friends "How would a pig tail look on that guy?". Julia sighted "You know you shouldn't preform magic here" "Then what else would you suggest I do?". Julia walks towards them, I could not hear what they said but the bullies ran away. Julia has always been the one who dared stuff like this.
15:30 school finally ended, it was weekend. Julia got picked up by her parents and Kyra walked back home with me. She lives in the same street as my orphanage is in. We talked about Occamy's, she's always very interested in the wizarding community. A few years ago I helped her get permission to know about magic.
When I got back to the orphanage Madame Pimwell was furious, not that this is a big deal because she always is. She was furious at a boy named Carlo, he never comes back before curfew. I guess you can blame puberty... I walked to my room and listened to the harsh sounds comming from downstairs.
After a few minutes it stopped and I heard Madame Pimwell walking towards my room. I expected she would open my door but instead she knocked. I did not know what to do, she never knocks. I said "Who's that?" Which was a really dumb question because I knew perfectly well who that was. She entered and said a sentence that changed my live: "You've been adopted"
