"Wake up, rise and shine! Time to get ready!" my mothers sing-song voice awakens me from my much needed slumber. I found it impossible to sleep last night, and was completely restless, only getting around 2 hours sleep. Opening my eyes, I roll over to see some girls that look around my age, setting up tables and stands around my room, ready to give me a makeover. Groaning, I sit up, only to be ushered into my en suite, and demanded to wash and shave as fast as possible.

"We have exactly 3 hours to get you ready! So please, sit back, relax, and don't move!"

After three hours of my hair being tugged at, my face being plastered, and my nails painted, I am finally ready. Sitting in the limo, I feel like a rag doll that's just been pulled around by a group of five year olds.

"Smile, dear, you look ever so grumpy" my mother scolds, and I flash her my fakest smile. She shakes her head, rolls her eyes, and looks down at her iPhone, a big grin spreading on her face.

"The can't wait to see us! I just wish that you'd picked a..nicer dress" she sighs, looking me up and down.

I actually, for once, am quite happy with how I look. I actually really like this dress, and the way my hair is curled lightly goes well with my natural makeup. One of the girls added a blue headband into my hair, which I must admit, did look rather pretty. I look out of the window to see us passing through some large gates, and I suddenly see people everywhere. Oh god, I'm going to have to socialise.

"We are here! oh Clara, stand up straight, smile, don't speak unless spoken to, but always answer" she rushes, "Oh! and be polite!"

Rolling my eyes, I wait patiently as the car stops, and the driver makes his way over to my door. Opening it, he flashes me a quick smile, which I try to return, though probably failing.

"Thankyou" I try to sound as grateful as possible, but I already feel uncomfortable.

Before I know it, we are sitting down at a large, round table, surrounded by strangers. My mother is talking to some of them, while I just sit here, desperately needing the toilet.

"Mother, I need to use the toilet" I nudge her, and she glares at me before asking the host where the toilet is. After being directed by one of the servants, I finally manage to let out the fluid I had been holding in for the past hour or so. Sorting myself out, I leave the huge house, and decide to take a detour.

Ten minutes later, I'm walking through the flower gardens, bored, and lost, when a group of younger girls run up to me.

"Have you seen the white rabbit?" they ask me, all jumping up and down, and I shake my head slowly,

"No, sorry" I reply, trying to give them a genuine smile. They all look disappointed, and I speak before I can stop myself. "But I'll help you look?"

"Yes! Thankyou!" a blonde girl exclaims, and they all run down the path. Jogging to keep up, I hold my dress and feel like a child, heck, I probably look childish right now, but it's better than sitting and doing nothing.

"He has a big watch, and everyone we see him, he runs away" one of the brunettes giggles, and I frown in confusion. Have I been played?

"I genuinely thought that there was a rabbit" I laugh, realising that these girls were pranking me. They protest and insist that they weren't lying, but I tell them that I have to get back to my table, and they let me leave, pouts on all of their small faces. While walking back the way I came, I begin to hear a very faint ticking noise, and I lift my head to face the noise, a gasp leaving my lips. There, sitting down the path, with a large clock hanging from it neck, is a white rabbit.
