I have braved the storm outside of the empire. I prefer to avoid escorts whenever I can. They make me feel pathetic, worthless. After alll, how much can me, a young stallion, do? I feel so helpless to assist the crystal ponies, but I know that's not true. Even though the Empire is in decline, all they care about is those festivals. I could understand this because the Empire is powered by love and joy, but it's not the most... efficient fuel. Hopefully I can find a way to power and re-enforce the strength of the empire. I'll arrive at Canterlot in the morn, hopefully I can get some rest.
