Leticia POV;

I rolled onto my side, grumbling incoherent words about how much I hated mornings, I grabbed my new iPhone 7 and hit snooze before drifting into a deep slumber. BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP! The alarm went again, I opened my eyes, taking a moment to re-adjust to the light before making out the time 8:45am, "Fuck! I'm going to be late!" I threw the duvet off and rushed to get the shower ready, I turned the hot water on and brushed my teeth while waiting for the water to steam before I hopped in and showered. Running to get dressed, I picked out my black and white Vans originals with skinny jeans and a white loose top I got from Supre. I picked up my bag and jogged down the stairs to get me to-go coffee in a tumbler and my car keys before speeding off.

When I got to school, I pulled up into the first lot I could find and I rushed to the office to pick up my timetable, "Have a good first day Leticia!", the office lady called out to me, but I was already out the door. Looking down at the paper wasn't the best idea because I knocked into a hard chest and almost fell to the ground, but a pair of arms caught me and I was met with the most gorgeous face I had ever seen. The guy smiled and I blushed, I stood back up and looked to the floor, my cheeks flushed, "I'm Cameron," he said, his voice was low and smoky, "L-Leticia" I stuttered, he chuckled. He looked down to the piece of paper in my hands and a small smile crept onto his face, "Literature with Alice? You've got the same classes as me Periods one, three and five." I smiled, "Great!" I was above the clouds, I had found a nice friend on the first day and brownie points for him being a total hottie. The bell rang and he lead me to my first class of the year, I took a seat next to him at the back of the class and took out my pencil case and books. I switched my phone to silent and crossed my legs just as the teacher walked in, "Good morning class, I hope you had a good summer break and welcome back to school. This will be your form class for this year and before class commences, I would like to introduce a new student Leticia Cormberwell?" My cheeks flushed and I raised my hand, "Ah there you are Leticia! Would you like to say a few words about yourself before we start?" she asked, "Yeah, y-yeah sure," I mumbled. "So, I'm Leticia, um, I just moved here from New York. I like playing volleyball and I used to do cheer for awhile, also I like Literature so that's kinda why I'm in this class." I chuckled nervously. The teacher smiled at me and I sat down again, I felt a hand on my thigh and I jumped in my seat, I turned my head to Cameron sitting next to me "Relax" he mouthed, a grin on his face, I allowed a smile to creep onto my face, "So, cheer for awhile huh?", Cameron raised an eyebrow. "Maybe you could be my personal cheerleader." He winked and turned back to what the teacher was writing on the board, taking down the notes as she went on. I was left stunned, was he flirting with me? My eyes shifted to the grey Tommy Hilfiger shirt he wore, how it hugged his figure ever so perfectly, and his black jeans that hung dangerously low. I'm sure someone would have seen me ogling him I mean, he was sculpted by God. No, he is God. My cheeks flushed as I realised how long I was staring for, I then went back to copying what was written on the board.

As the bell rang, students started to pack up and leave the room and thanking Ms Alice on the way out, so I followed suit, Cameron following closely behind me. The rest of the day passed in a blur, I spent my day with Cameron and his friends - Taylor, Nash, Jack, Ethan and Grayson. I was putting myself in the spotlight hanging out with them, which I shouldn't be doing, but it felt right. Like I belonged.
