Kynlies pov:
I woke up the next morning, and sighed.
I'm not going to school.
I walked downstairs, and grabbed an apple.
"Honey why aren't you at school?" My mom asked, being nosey.
"I'm not going today. Not feeling too well." I lied.
"Oh okay honey, do you want me to fix you some soup before I go to work?" She asked, sweetly.
"No mom, I'm fine. I'll take care of myself. Thanks though." I replied.
"Alright, you're welcome. Love you." She said, walking out the door.
"Love you too, mom." I replied, trudging back upstairs.
I looked down at my phone and walked right into someone.
"Excuse you." Jack bit.
"Please tell me that you're going to school?" I asked, sighing.
"Nope. Don't feel like it." He shrugged.
"Wonderful. Guess that makes two of us." I rolled my eyes.
"Hey, can we talk?" I asked.
"Yeah, whatever." He shrugged.
"Uhm. I'm sorry for all the stuff I said last night. I-I didn't know that you actually thought we were something." I muttered.
"Yeah whatever. It was a mistake to want you anyways." He replied, bored.
Ouch, that hurt.
"Well, nice talk." I replied, biting my lip.
"No, wait." He grabbed my arm. I turned and our lips collided. His hands slid down and landed on my waist. He slid one of his hands into my hair, and deepened the kiss. I grabbed his shirt, and pulled him closer to me, feeling every part of his body against mine.
He pulled away, and bit his lip. I licked mine.
"For someone who isn't interested in me, you sure do like to kiss me." Jack whispered.
"I never said I wasn't interested in you. I simply said that we'd never be together." I replied, still pressed against his body.
"And what if we could be together?" He mumbled, staring at my lips.
"Then I guess you could do what you want with me." I leaned in, kissing his lips.
"Kyn-" My mom said, but then stopped, observing the scene in front of her.
She took a deep breath, and looked at the ground.
"Shit." Jack mumbled.
"Yeah, shit is right." I bit my lip, looking at my mom.
