Wiccan Laws & Rules--Statement of Purpose of the W.L.L.
The Wiccan Ladies League is committed to a foundation of profound statements in the Pagan/Wiccan community as well as in the non-Pagan/Wiccan community. The statement of purpose and the mission of the Wiccan Ladies League is as follows:
*As women of the Pagan/Wiccan community we strive to live in a manner which honors the Goddesses by following the various guidelines, laws, rules and principles of the Pagan/Wiccan religion.
*As women in the Pagan/Wiccan community we strive to explore and study the beliefs, practices, and philosophies of the Wiccan religion from many traditions, with our primary focus on that of the Goddesses.
*As women in the Pagan/Wiccan community we strive to support one another, teach one another, and learn from one another in our spiritual growth, healing, empowerment, and aspirations.
*As women in the Pagan/Wiccan community we strive to hold our Pagan/Wiccan rituals and ceremonies in safe areas, and with respect to Nature and the laws of the Pagan/Wiccan religion as well as the laws of the land. We strive to honor the Sabbats, the Esbats, and the sacred Goddess days, and to recognize the various rites of passage.
*As women in the Pagan/Wiccan community we strive to honor the Earth and all Her creatures as sacred, and work to heal and protect the environment within our community, throughout our nation, and across the world.
The Wiccan Ladies League statement of commitment is that as women of the Pagan/Wiccan community we strive to commit ourselves fully to the above mentioned purposes of our general society.
Eight Magickal Rules of the Craft
Cast a magick circle in preperation for magick and/or ritual work.
Use a divination tool before working any magick.
Always walk clockwise (deosil) within the magick circle.
Be respectful in the magick circle. Honor the Goddesses and those within the circle. If you are angry with anyone, either solve the problem before entering the circle, put aside your argument until afterward, or simply do not stand in the circle with that person. The 'circle' is the Wiccan's/Witch's "sacred/holy church/temple"--ALL forms of negative energy are FORBIDDEN within it.
Never attack the innocent.
Try your best to work for the greatest or highest good. When in doubt, ask Spirit to guide your thoughts.
Do not mess with another person's free will. This goes along with the 'Wiccan Rede'. Do not use your magick for personal gain.
Never call anything in to the magick circle that you have not researched first. Do not call up what you cannot put down.
Ten Wiccan Commandments
Thou art Goddess.
As above, so below; as within, so without.
Spirit abides in all things; words and names have power.
Maintain an attitude of gratitude; walk the talk.
