Hey my names Camarie I'm a strait A student at Eagles Landing Highschool I have a very big and supportive family they support me through everything I do. I am a basketball player and where the same number my daddy did number 12 and yes I said did my father was recently found laying a couple of miles away from the apartment with five bullet wounds in his chest with a note on his forehead saying I'm coming for the rest of y'all we have no clue who this person is or could be but we have relocated with my aunt cal and she is very over protective of me,my mom and my younger brother so we feel safe.

It's a couple weeks later and I'm just now waking up in a comfy pink room with zebra print covers. (Aunt cal loves animal print!) I sit up and reach for my phone to check the time and realize I only have five minutes to get ready for school. I jumped out the bed and run to the bathroom. I ran the shower to the water was luck warm. Just the way I like it. I jump in scrub up the important parts and hop out real quick. I run the comb through my long black curly hair and slip on my blue leggings and my gamma ray 5s I put on some mascara real quick and dash for the door. "Breakfast" Aunt cal ask while I reach for my keys "No thank you" I say as I text Jacobi to be ready when I get there Jacobi is my Best friend. Trust me that's all he is I've never really caught feelings for him but don't get me wrong Jacobi Is sexy! He has every pair of Jordan's in the world he's about 6'1 and his skin is a light Carmel color and he has thick curly brown hair that he always has freshly cut around the edges.Girls dream about him and think im dumb for not falling head over heels for him but he's just not my type.His personality is the silly type and he loves playing girls getting them whipped up like ice cream,getting in there pants ,then letting them go. Jacobi: it's fine. I woke up late today myself . I'll be waiting on you . School can wait. But guess what!

Me: What boy?

Jacobi: I'll tell you when you pick me up . You can wait but hurry up we can't be to late.

CAPTER 2

I hop into my two door convertible and start for Jacobi's house. he lives alone because his parents didn't want him anymore after he got shot last year but that's a different story. I pull up an honk the horn twice to tell him to come on out. He steps out the door with his Levi's on and his grape 5s(man that boy can dress) he opens the door and and puts his book bag on the back seat it's now 8:10 and we have to be at school for 8:00 so without a word I put the car in reverse and head for school

He reaches for the radio and turns to 97.9 and August Alsina is on there with his number one hit the getto and that's my jam! So I say turning the radio down. What you wanna tell me?

Jacobi's POV
So I'm sitting in the car with camarie and I'm about to tell her my news.. Camarie I said as I reached for her hand. "What"! she says with a little cockiness in her voice which I kind of liked "I really like you baebe girl! Camaries neck snaps to the side in shock! "What"?I said scared of her response "I...i don't know what to say" "I never knew you felt that way about me" camarie says sounding really surprised. Well yes I do I have like you for as long as I can remember you dress like my dream girl and your personality is to fall for I said to camarie making her blush . Well Jacobi I'm glad you feel that way , but were only friends and that's what I wanna keep it like. she parks the car in the school parking lot and I walk around to open her door keeping a smile but I know on the inside im boiling I really thought she would like me back.
