THE VERY NEXT MORNING, the dark-haired woman yawned slightly and stretched out of the bed before turning her alarm clock completely off. Checking the calendar on the wall to see that it was Monday. Which meant that she had a bunch of appointments with all of her clients today, along with the devil himself, Baron Corbin.
Her and John have been doing great since getting right back together again after the whole cheating scene. After the long passionate sex between the two of them, they both talked things out where he wanted to be more faithful and loyal to her. It was even shocking when he fired his former personal assistant, Mandy Rose right on the spot.
Nicole would have feel sorry for the poor girl but she didn't give a damn whatsoever. It's what she deserves, she thought to herself. John was absolutely changing for the better and she loved every single moment of it.
She smiled before getting out of bed and heading inside the bathroom as she was getting ready for the day. Nicole was wearing a silky smooth white dress shirt along with some white pants and heels. Her long dark locks were curly and she had some makeup on. Grabbing her purse and other materials before heading out the front door.
A few moments later, she exited out of the elevator where she spotted her best friend CJ from across the room. The two of them haven't really spoken since the argument a few weeks back at her apartment building where they was talking about her relationship with John and of course excusing CJ cheating on her husband with the janitor.
Nicole knew that CJ was only trying to help to the point where she turned things around on the poor girl. She have to say that she missed her best friend dearly and she wanted to apologize to her due to her action. Taking a deep breath in and out, she walked across the room with a slight smile on her face as she waved.
"Um... Hey, CJ." Nicole says.
"Well welcome back." CJ would say sarcastically when the dark-haired woman walked towards the front desk. "You here to excuse me of cheating on my husband with the mailman or something now? If so, I don't want to hear it."
The dark-haired woman sighed before taking a good look at her best friend. "I'm not here to do none of that CJ. I wanted to apologize for my action a few days ago when you came over to my apartment. It was completely wrong on my part to snap on you like and not to mention, accusing you cheating on your husband with the janitor here. You were only looking out for me and I appreciate it. I really do and I'm so sorry."
