Kendall's POV

The next morning, we were all awake by six-thirty. We were early birds, that's for sure. We loved waking up early to get a head start on the day and be productive.

Gigi's parents had made sure the house was stocked with food before we came. So, I thought it would be nice to cook everyone up a yummy breakfast. I cooked bacon, sausages, toast, eggs for me, Gigi and Hailey. However, I made up a bowel of yoghurt, grains and berries for Kylie.

It didn't take long for it all to get eaten up since we didn't eat dinner last night. We were too lazy from the drive and unpacking to make anything.

Since I cooked, Hailey offered to clean up. By then, it was around eight-ish.

Gates don't open until eleven, so we had plenty of time. Not only that, but we weren't too fussed on getting there early. We'd rather wait for the rush of people to ease up a little.

"So, how will we get ready ?" Kylie asked, sitting on the bench as we were all gathered in the kitchen.

"I say that we just bring out all our makeup, put it on the dining table and get ready there. There's a mirror in my parents room I can take off the wall and put on the table, big enough for us all. Then, we can all keep eachother checked in on how we're looking" Gigi suggested.

"Yeah, sounds like a plan. Let's go, everyone go get your shit !" I said, shouting the last part. The girls laughed at me, but it didn't stop them from racing off in all directions to gather their things.

We were such a robotic group. I mean it like we did things in sync without even realising half the time. We're a good team.

I was the first one to the table with my bag of makeup and outfit I was wearing. I thought I'd made Gigi's life a little easier and push the dining table again the wall for the mirror to lean on.

Gigi was out next, carrying the mirror in one hand and makeup in the other. She was struggling, but she made it. She had to make a second trip to her room for her clothes.

Hailey was then the next one down. Like always, Kylie took her sweet ass time and was the last one.

We grabbed four chairs and sat them around the table. I began putting my makeup on the table in front of me. I preferred to be able to see all my makeup when I'm applying it. Sometimes I forget some steps like priming. But when it's all laid out in front of me, it's there as a constant reminder.

The first thing I did, was wipe over my face with a wipe to kill any bacteria and get rid of any dirt or left over makeup from the day before. I then applied moisturiser and allowed that to settle in for a few minutes.

Looking down at the selection of foundations and bb creams I bought, I found it hard to choose.

"How heavy are we going with the foundation ?" I asked.

"I'm only wearing a tinted moisturiser" Hailey said, Gigi was then quick to say she was too.

Kylie didn't bother answering. I knew her enough to know that she was going all out. Heavy coverage foundation, cream contour, powder foundation, setting powder... I knew what her deal was.

I buffed porefessional's primer into my t-zone. Using the girls antics, I then picked up my holy grail bb cream; smashbox camera ready. I blended it all over my face and made sure there were no harsh lines. I then put one small dot of tartes shape tape concealer under my eyes and on my eyelids. I didn't do a triangular shape because I only wanted my bags to be covered, I didn't want any extra high-light or cakeyness. Straight away, I set it with some laura mercier translucent powder before it creased on me. I then used whatever was left over on my brush to set the rest of my face. Next step, was bronzer. I got my hoola bronzer by benefit and applied it to the outskirts of my face. This is probably one of my favourite products. With my skin tone, I could use it as bronzer and contour. Once it was blended to my liking, I went in with it again to chisel out my cheek bones. Picking up a random eyeshadow blending brush, I swirled it around once again into the same bronzer. This time, I put the bronzer in the crease of my eye. I made sure to blend so there were no harsh lines. I deepened the crease colour with some random taupe shade thats name had rubbed off. My brows looked as though they got lost on my face and needed a little more colour. I went in with a brow pencil and filled in the sparse areas before setting it with a dark brown eyebrow gel. Looking in the mirror, I pursed my lips to the side, thinking of what to do next. I only want me makeup natural. In all honesty, it will probably sweat off anyway. I realise I had forgotten my highlight. Who forgets highlight for a festival ? Using a fan brush, I coated my cheek bones in mary-louminiser by the balm. I also applied it with my finger, to the tip of my nose, cupid's bow and eyelids. Picking up my crappy two dollar eyelash curler, the next step is pretty self-explanatory. Once my eyelashes were curled, I applied some mascara. I picked up another wipe and cleaned my lips, removing the built up foundation and powder. I then lined my lips and applied a pinky-nude liquid lipstick. The last step, was to set it with a setting spray.
