A Dragon's Mate.

Chapter 6 - Meeting of Mates.

Raphael knew that his mate was getting closer to him and he was excited for the day that he would arrive.

Tom and Severus were nervous, they both knew that their son had a hard life and they wanted something good to finally happen to the boy. They were nervous for their son because his mate might be on the side of light while their son was now on the side of dark, they were worried their son would leave them if his mate was on the other side.

Raphael may have only been with his parents for a couple of months but he understood them very well, he knew what they were thinking and he had to put a stop to it.

"Mother, father. What's wrong?" He asked them one day, he knew already but he wanted to see if they would tell him.

"Its nothing son, just some insecurities we have." Tom said, trying to smile happily for his son.

"You know, I may not have been for very long but I know both of you enough to know something is wrong. Let me guess, your worried that my mate is on the light and I will leave both of you to join him, is that right?" Raphael said with a smile.

"That's exactly right." Severus said with a shocked look on his face.

"You have nothing to fear, my mate is as a dark as the rest of us." Raphael said with a dreamy smile.

"How do you know that?" Tom asked looking confused.

"Easy we are mates, I can feel him. Besides he is a dark creature as well as all of us so he will be dark, I am not going to be taken from you all again." Raphael said as he hugged both of his parents.

Severus and Tom hugged their son tightly, they had only been apart of his life for a few months, they did not want him taken away from them so early.

"I'm not going anywhere." Raphael said softly as they hugged. When they broke away Raphael said he was going to go for a walk, he knew his mate was very close and he wanted to be refreshed when they across one another.

When Raphael was out walking he wasn't expecting to be attacked, it was lucky that the manor was under a protection spell so no one would be able to find it.

The wizard was a one that Raphael recognised from being in the Order's headquarters, he could not remember the name but the face was ringing bells.

"What are you doing here?" Raphael asked, though his hand was on his wand just in case he was attacked, no one from the light should be this close to his home.

"I am an Auror as well as a member of the Order, a dark Aura has been sensed in this area I was sent to check it out. What are you doing here?" The man asked.

"I live close by." Raphael said, though he was edging further away from the man.

"How could you live here? The Order released a statement that told the world that we suspected Voldemort to be working in this area." The Auror said, looking at the boy with a suspicious glare.

"I've never heard anything about that." Raphael said with care. He knew if he was caught his parents and friends would do everything they could to get him back, they would then have to move. Raphael knew that if this Auror did detect him then he would have to take him back to the manor or kill him here.

"What is your name?" The man asked him.

Raphael thought that if he told the man his name he would be attacked right away, he knew the Order members would know the real name of Voldemort and would connect the dots. He had his wand ready to strike.

"My name is Raphael Riddle. And you?" He said with a smirk.

It did not take long for the name to register with the Order member. "Oh My God, your his son aren't you?" The man said, taking his wand and pointing it at Raphael.
